If enough people are interested, I will make it official. I wanted to get the community's feedback before I followed through on this. I'm thinking about hosting a tournament here in my small home town of Ashland Oregon, just north of the Oregon/California border on interstate Five:
Since it seems the Oregon comunity and the North California comunity are pretty isolated from eachother, I think a tournament right on the border would be a great way to break the ice.
EDIT
/EDIT
The biggest issue I can see is travel, since most of the comunity is based out of larger cities like Portland, Sacremento and San Francisco, the long drive and the gas that goes with it may deter some people. But really, how often do the NorCal community and the Oregon community interact? This is a great opportunity to play against players you may not have had the chance to otherwise. If you are willing to go the distance, I can make it happen.
Your feedback is most welcome.

EDIT
-t0mmy-I'm sure there's quite a few of us [Oregon players] that would go down to play, especially those players in Grants Pass.
However, I think you'd be able to get a lot more people to attend if you could convince NorCal to attend as well.
