Only 5 chars. per series max?

if you notice this picture, there is only one more spot left to the right of jigglypuff. The area is about the same size as the other chars. icon.

Of course, this is just an opinion and I would assume it to be true unless the japanese text becomes smaller.

I'm guessing the mario series will be the only one to have five chars (mario, peach, bowser, luigi, ?).

The Mario franchise is going to have the most characters like last time. If it's truely down to one character then Geno's definately the front runner because he was mentioned in Sakurai's journal 5 times while Bowser Jr and Paper Mario didn't even show up.

Its probably true that no franchise will have more than 5 characters...

but to be fair, all this really tells us is that no character-specific sticker can be used by more than 5 characters (unless its one that is usuable by everyone).

For all we know there might be stickers that apply to other classifications. For instance, there might be some that only apply to heavy-weights, like DK, Bowser, Dedede, Ike, etc.

Lets assume they decide to make Geno a first party character sense Nintendo has some rights to him. It would fill up the Mario list of five, and it would make more sense they just filling the list up with Doctor Mario.

So the list would be thus.

Mario
Peach
Bowser
Luigi
Geno

Or I could be wrong and they throw in Bowser Jr, and actually do make Geno a 3rd party choice for Square Enix.

I find that to be a little bit of a stretch. They cant ignore the Bowser mains and not allow them to participate in the SSE storyline as everyones favourite Koopa King! I find it plausible for two storylines to be included, Heroes and Villains, repectively.

Back on topic though, at the title of the thread, ONLY 5 per series? that's plenty considering the charactes we already have revealed on the dojo. More than 5 would only raise the chances of clones, and clones make me feel dirty and shameful

You do that could mean that every Sticker there will be 5 characters at the max and not series and also if you look at the Sticker Power-ups update nest dedede there is room for about 6 more or it could mean that the pokemon series is going to get 5 reps but it could be diffent for other series.

Also Mewtwo not being on that does not mean he will not be playable in could mean he is not playable in SE or there could be a villan mode or they may only show the characters that have been unlcok.
