First they shouldn't be called 'Clans' they should be called 'gangs' or 'teams'. This is not Mechwarrior or some obscure mmo. 2nd, we arnt even sure this game will be Wifi. 3rd if it is i dont think we willhave lobbys. It will probly be random or wii numbers only. It whouldbe nice to have the ablity to have a lobby with the ability to choose who you play. not to mention were you are playing them and with who. but seeing how mario kart ds went. I highly doubt it. Lobbys breed Cussing and bad attitudes. I know Nintendo is agianst all of that. I will be surprised if you can even talk to you opponents in game.
And you can think the lifeless teens that identify themselves as "1337s" for that one. Try playing Halo 2 sometime. Its bad.. "I pwnd you!" lol... it iskind of humorous. But Definatly not family friendly.

Not gonna threathen you that I'm "going to be the crap out of you" or anything since I've never seen you play, so I couldn't judge in any way how good you are.
However, quick question, how do you plan on fighting worthy opponents if no one seems to have a chance against you anyway? Define "worthy" for me.
As for the "actual discussion" (yeah, there was a discussion in this thread a long time ago), I think online would be awesome, it would improve every member in the smash community by tenfold easily.
As for advanced techniques... I've never attended an "official" tournament, that much is true, but I have attended an unofficial one with 64 players from all over the country (not that Belgium is a big country though) and ended up in the top 16... That's upper half if I'm correct . And back then I didn't even know advanced techniques existed! Lol, I saw them being performed by my opponent and was like "dude, how did you just do that?" right before I knocked him of stage, gave him a good old fashioned spike and then edge-hogged (godda love the old-school tricks)
In any case, "if" (and to me, that's a big if) online play will be included, it'd increase a lot of our abilities.

All worthy opponents are those who have the resolve to challenge me to a battle, and thwart my reign over the Brawl community. Whether it be a novice, an intermediate, or an expert, it makes no difference to me. Just come and do battle with me, and join my clan, the clan that will forever go down in history as the best in the entire world!

I'm gonna be the first to lol when people try to wavedash on Brawl and can't. XD Ah well, they'll probably still keep those aspects, so all the advanced players will band together into a "Brotherhood", and own all the noobs. Those poor 7 year old kids and their Pikachu playing, being thrown around everywhere. Too bad, so sad. I'm not the best of players, but whatever, fighting actually GOOD players will be lots of help. Online Clanwars seem like a lagfest to me above anything else, but here's hoping to the best of luck for Brawl if it gets online.

And I'll say it once again, we may not have any confirmation, but this game.......this game known as Brawl is just to much of a on demand game for it not to be online. Period! Morever, I highly doubt a developer like Sakurai will let us down.
