Omneox Of Smash

For Brawl, I created a clan, Omneox Of Smash, but this clan was intended for online mode. Now that Wi-Fi play is confirmed, I'd figure I'd make a thread about it.

Now, first order of business. This forum is ONLY for dicussion of Omneox Of Smash. That includes:

Do not spam this topic. If you do, I'm pretty sure a mod will do something about it.

*NEW MEMBERS*
New members will be accepted automatically, but will be tested by all 5 clan leaders. We will then vote on the following:

Offense
Defense
Style
Judgement
*Teamwork*

Current members may discuss any of the topics, request other topics, etc.

Edit: Nvm I read the entire post. I want to join. This clan is awesome. Pro clan XD.

I'll announce my mains. One is obvious Peach, my second will be Pit.

My friends and I were thinking of starting our own clan, but we never though of a name for it lol.

I'll join this, hellz yeah. Count me in.

I currently main Fox, CF, and Sheik (with a ton of seconds xD), but it will probably change when Brawl drops. Put me down for Meta Knight main too just for the hell of it.

I'll probably end up play around 3/4 of the characters lol

Feel free to test me when Brawl comes out :D

Alright, judging by your useage of words, I can tell your already good, but, to be on the safe side, I'll have to judge you. If you have any videos of you playing, or one that's simular to your playstyle, that would be great.

I'd appreciate you both "advertising" the clan in your sigs. Of course, it's optional, but that's later.

Last time we recorded matches was a while ago too, and those aren't even up. I'll try to get some matches up sometime.

EDIT: DAM I didn't know they had a P2W clan... But if Smooth/John are in that and this then why can't I be? :D God this game can't come out soon enough

LOL! Melee skills will not magically carry over to Brawl. Brawl will have different physics. You people who make clans before the game is even out make me laugh. Why not find out who is actually good at Brawl before making a clan? For all we know, the creator of this clan will suck more than anyone else!

There will be a period of adjustment, but I'm still pretty sure peoples' skill will carry over for the most part and continue to improve.

EDIT: sweet, I got props B-) lol.

You need clan advertisement? I wouldn't mind making a basic banner, maybe even animated. I work with Flash so it wouldn't be PS quality images or anything, but I could still make something cool I reckon.

People who are good at Melee will adapt to Brawl since some skills do carry over along with their drive to do better. It's not like all the pros' natural talent, drive, hand eye coordination, and how to play smash in general will go away magically just cause there is a new physics engine. It is true that we won't know all the techs, combos, matchups, or strats that can emerge because of the new game, but that doesn't mean that people will automatically just become n00bs at smash.

I just have to get that out there. I don't think you meant that everyone would be turned into n00bs, but I just had to make sure no thinks that will happen.

Edit: I know they are not. So they did tell you that we existed which is what I wanted to know. lol I just wondering if we can get some friendlies in.

2nd Edit: I definitely have not that great of a record. I think I have done very well for only being in the tourney scene for 4 months.

Yes, but the way I see it, this is part of that. A way to connect regularly with a group of smashers in special events and things, helping us all improve. I got competitively into Melee rather late (about a 14 months ago), but with Brawl, I'm here at the beginning with a bit of a headstart xD

Hey... I got into competitive play (Practice, Usage of technical moves, etc..)late too. I started around 5 months ago. I wanna get a headstart in Brawl so I can become a fairly decent player. What better way than joining a clan?

Yes, he is, I just haven't gotten to talk to him.

I don't know...maybe because my clan was originally a local Melee crew, but I've expanded it. It's for Brawl Wi-Fi, and since it's confirmed, I guess they're not going to close it. I made this thread to get organized for Wi-Fi, and not be mixed up in countless affairs, such as getting Wii numbers, etc. Since the game is only 2 months away, why delete it?

Other than that, Mic_128 hasn't been on for awhile...I really hope he doesn't delete this...
