I dont think its lag, lag in brawl just slows the game down.
Lag could also create more opportunities to buffer an attack. It seems to me that the purple pikmin was unable to perform upsmash during the input. Olimar then used another input (roll), but the purple pikmin executed the earlier input. I seems kinda like desynching, but with pikmin.

I know that this isn't exactly in our reach yet but....with all these people claiming to find new AT's, when the few that actually have a replay saved of it, you'd think we would have tried to decipher the way that the replay files are saved. Granted, we know that those files memorize BUTTON controls and aren't actual video files....wouldn't knowing the BUTTON input help in finding out what happened in all these random potential AT's we find are? I mean, just a thought.

But I don't see how wifi could affect this. Wifi has the same physics rules as playing normally, just the button input might be a bit latted....

i does kind of seem like desynching. its similar to the whole "grab, get hit, but the pikmin still does the throw" thing

Looks to me like even if you figure out how to do it, you would need the other character to do something as well to make it work (anotherwords useless)

weruop: just because theres a video of it doesnt mean we can reproduce it, we're not NASA.

if someone can figure this out that would be great, but dont get your hopes up.
once we get multiple footage of this, we should have an idea of wut it involves, and sooner or later, discover it

i said should

also, sooner or LATER... later could b 100years for all we know. plz dont waste my time and state the obvious. i know u arent nasa and that having a vid doesnt mean u can automatically reproduce it. not everything i say is pin point specific anyways

also, im pretty positive that yellow pikmin flew the same distance as it always does...

wow, why didn't i think of that.

i know people are working on things to convert snapshots to jpg, and replay to videos, but why is no one just trying to change replay to some kind of text file that says what happened.
