Yo Omega, my friend said he is gonna go to the tournament. He is gonna do singles and doubles(as my partner) So yeah, add him to the list. He isn't sure if he is gonna have enough money to do both, but he wants to do both. Bleh, if he doesn't get enough money I could loan him $10 or something.

and, grav/sasori/whoever, you should offer to team up with shanx, so that everything works out and neither scud nor shanx are disappointed.

speaking of scud, he came over yesterday, and beat me about 10 times in a row, with me just getting pwned. then he turned the camera on, and i won about 66% of the time. funny how it works out like that. :\
aaanywho, we'll have to find a way to get zinth the footage, or whoever is the head editor of the 'OK Combo Video' so they can use some of the footage for either of our sections.

i saw clerks 2. f'ing hilarious, but not too impressive as a movie. there's a new TMNT movie coming out...looks about as canon as the other movies...which is quazi. better than the 1987 show(in exactness, not in awesomeness, fo' sho')

Zinth, haha good job lol. It seems my Peach has come a long way. In all honesty though I think Marth is a Peach counter because of that tip and that range he has >_>.

Reno I'm pretty sure we have enough room for you in our crew. We also need to come up with a crew name or something.

Vegafuse: Good matches and good work in teams. Hopefully we be able to take down Team Zero this weekend at the tourny

Yeah, Marth probably is the best (only) way to beat Peach. Fox is too if he can pull off the infinite perfectly. Probably Falco as well if the Falco is good enough. That's pretty much it though

Alright guys, I have an announcement about my Low-tiers. They won't see the light of day until many more months to come, so I'm going all high-tiers for this one. That means watch out for my Doc, Sheik, and whatever I throw at you. My low-tiers are pretty good, but their condition is not yet prepared for a tournament scene.

KOS-MOS: Mad props my man, for singles and teams. We just need to keep this up at the tourny, and 1st won't seem so far away Make sure you get that specific character practice from Shade.

Zinth: Good going in defeating Chris. I know I'll expect a great showing from you. Lol, funny pic btw.

Shade: Meh, everyone has their off days, just get some training down and do your best at the tourny. It'll be a sad day in OK when the top 5 are only OOSers

Rasta: Good shiz with Jiggs. I wonder how well you'll do against Reno in dittos though......

Grav: Wow, you're like incredibly good now. You better show some impressive 3-stockage at the tourny, haha.

Shanx: We didn't get to fight, but I'll be looking forward to some battles next time.

Po and Fresh: WTH!!! It sucked you guys had to leave so early. We gotta practice up later this week so we won't be so rusty this time around. At the last tournament, we definitely could have performed top-notch if we hadn't miss almost a year without any good sessions of Smash. So whenever you're free, let me know.

Vega, next time i want to fight you. I really only got to play against gravity last time, so i want to play against shade, chris, you, and anyone else that doesn't main samus. My doc really needs the practice since i hear that the oos'ers are no pushovers.

No, not even in the MLG power rankings do they determine it by wins/loses. They also take in account the player who the were fighting. Think of it like this, Shade goes up against Ken in the winners bracket, shade loses, then goes up against PC in the losers bracket because chu knocked him out. They arent gonna put shade as last because of the people he went up against.

As for teams, well South Paw and I are gonna own you, I know it sucks-for you guys...

um, i meant to imply that who you win against/lose to was included in wins over losses. you get more credit for beating higher level opponents. kind of like yahoo pool...


let's say every starts out with 25 points. and everytime he wins he gets 10% of the other player's points.
player A has a record that got him 30 points, and player B has a record that got him 22.5 points. if player A wins, he will obtain 2.3(rounded) points from player B, whereas if player B wins, he will obtain 3 points from player A.

i think that system works well. it takes into account the record of the opponents and who each have foughten, but you don't have to keep track of each and every matchup since records are always changing.

either way...we'll have a good ranking system, i'm sure.

how do you know when you're a little too bored?
you set up matchups on the gamecube because you know you'll be up all night doing stuff, and if you need to watch smash fighting, there it is. 1 lvl 9, 1 lvl 8, 1 lvl 7, 1 lvl 6, and i set it up by(since there's 25 characters, 5 rows, 5 columns, depending on who i like the most) my 5 tiers of alex-preference.

1st battle is going on right now. captain falcon/marth/luigi/mario...looks to be epic. CFalc is in the lead with 34 stock, marth and luigi both have 33, mario only has 29.

the other lineups are sheik/jiggly/ganon/mewtwo, yoshi/fox/pikachu/young link, /link/dk/roy/pichu, ness/falco/kirby/bowser. the other 5 characters are indifferent in like or dislike...so they don't get the priviledge of fighting.




yeah, i know. exciting, huh? i need to get some sleep...

but yeah, i figured out how to decide what color to use. have a computer of each color fight a 99 stock match, and see who wins, and whatever color it is, i will stick with throughout my smash career.
