Do you think that it would make your dad feel better if like you meet with one of us alone like someone went to your house and then played some there, to make thigs better with you dad. then maybee later youd dad would let you come to the bigger events with more people.

Hmm, how far is Pauls Valley From OKC, if possible we coul dmeet up sometime and I could have my mom talk to your dad on the phone to help it work.

It is about an hour drive. I dunno if he'd be willing to have someone come down from OKC though. I am still gonna be able to go to the tourny and he said that after I've met you guys at the tournament that I might be able to go to some smashfests after that.

Yeah, but I really wanted to go to the smashfest. I need the practice for the tournament. I have one friend to practice against and he isn't very good. Oh well, at least I can go to the tournament.

Yah I remember Vega said that his group was 18 and up whenI first meet him, we had the same problem as Sasori lol, my mom wouldnt let me go, and when the tourny came she did, and then everything was great after that.

Haha, I really doubt that Shanx. I don't get to practice against other people as much as you guys so I am probably not near as good. I'm gonna have my friend come over tomorrow though and we are gonna get some serious trainning in, He is thinking about going to the tournament to.

On a different topic, is short hopping neccesary when using Sheik?

not really, sasori. you want to concentrate on using dash attacks, ftilts, grabs, and down smashes until you can get them to mid percentages, then throw them in the air and attack them with a full jump. unless they are a fastfaller like fox, then you better get your shorthop in and do that damage because another chance won't come so easily.
that's from my knowledge, but i don't know much about sheik yet.

I usualy do that. Just hit them with tilts and chain throw then knock them in the air and FAir them out. But, that is easy to do vs comps. i need practice vs people. Bleh, I'll get plenty of that at the tournament.

I can't use Samus for ****. Tried her a few times, and got owned quite badly. I don't like long range fighting. Sheik and Falco are the only two characters I use that have any long ranged attacks, and I don't use Sheik's needles all that often.

Sasori, just show your dad a picture of me and his problems....nevermind, maybe Vegafuse, Fresh, Po, or Me may not be the best people to show your dad. Just ask zinth for a pic of the people at the tourny, there is nothing to be worried about, the worst thing that has happened that we only had about 3 cubes.

Omg Guys Smashboards Is Working Again!

It also seems that it does not let me type in all caps, and instead changes it so the first letter of every word is capitalized.

It also seems that I was one of the first people on the entirety of all of Smashboards to post after it came back.

But yeah, Samus is gay. I made a post about it yesterday, but Smashboards went down just as it was posting and it didn't get through. I don't remember what else I said about it though. She counters the style of my main characters though, which is gay. Samus = gay. She gets plus five in gay. I can still beat her, but it's just really annoying to do so.

I can use her somewhat alright for never practicing with her, just not in a Samus ditto.

Eh, I don't like long range fighting, and that is pretty much what Samus is made for. If I ever try and get up close to fight for to long with Samus I get owned. I'll stick with Sheik and Marth.

Yeah, I don't really like long range fighting either. I don't have the patience to shoot a variety of projectiles out, I'm more of a hand-to-hand person. Nor do I like the grapple beam, I prefer normal grabs.

Ok guys, at the Smashfest tomorrow, I suggest that we mainly play 1v1s and 2v2s. We need all the practice we can get, and FFAs will not help us. We don't have time to mess around, we have to prepare ourselves for the OOSers. This is our big chance to get our names out there, and we can't afford to waste it.

Well I'm back from my vacation, was pretty darn fun. Thats good news that the tournament has moved because now I might be able to have one of my friends come and we can do partners. I.......hate......you.....all, I now know what it feels like to have to read so much.

Forgive my double post lol, I had a great time and nice job chris, my mom said next time I can sleepver since it is hurting my skills not being abe to like the reat of you, haha but I don't know my bro dosn't seem to wanna play against me much anymore, so I have to practice other way, hopefully He will decide to want to play smash more, but I don't know, he seems to like it less and less, he didn't even fight anyone at the place, anyway I can't blame it all on him, I won't suck so bad nect time, Chris I wil have to go over to your house for some practice alone before the tournament, even if my only problem is your peach is enough for me to pay attention to. lol well its cool, I actually have to start practicing more seriously now.
