6 or 7? Well, at my place, it'll just be me, but whenever we head out to smashfests, there will be about 15 other kids you can battle. I'll probably have Po Pimpus and Fresh over my place whenever we just chill.

If the tournament successfully hits in June, then there will be a good chance we will have Monthlies from then on. OR, if the tournament (unofficially) scheduled for June is delayed, it will most likely be held during your stay. So there's a good probability you guys will be invloved in one of our events.

Yo Rasta, have you came up with the entry fee yet? I (along with SRK) will be involved in acquiring the location but entry fee for Smash is all up to you. I know you want Singles and Teams, but how does Crew or Low-tier (heh) events sound? It may add an extra 2 to 3 hours, but hopefully we can include one of those.

Put everything in a hat, and you draw them randomly: Tier place (Or ditto tier), stage level (all stages on, random). Im thinking that maybe we should have "team" for it, even though it is 1v1, and you can have the opportunity to switch with your partner for one round to see if you stand a better chance, your opponent may also have the same opportunity. Remember, its not 1 switch per round, one for the tourny. It will be composed of best of 3.

This is a good idea, Ill write it all out later and in more detail.

Oh, sorry, the entry fee is $10, my bad, I thought I put that in my other post. Funny that you guys can afford the mm (which is probably a bad idea, not sayin you guys wont win, you just have the chance of losing your money) but not a tourney? For those who dislike the tourny idea........

I see your point guys, so I'm going to make some adjustments. I would like to retain the tournament as planned, but how about we make it more along the lines of a "smashfest"? How would it sound if we can get enough equipment and everything for constant casuals? The entry fee will only be charged to enter the tournament bracket, to come in and just play smash will be completely free. If that becomes the case, we just need a couple TV's and Cubes for the tournament and the rest for casual games. I hope everyone can agree with the idea. It will be *just* like a smashfest, except a tournament will be running at the same time (and occasional "OOooohs" when SRKers bust a 65-hit combo). Also, people participating in the actual tournament will also be allowed to play casuals while they await their next match.

It might end up just being a friendly match. But only time will tell.

Man I just got out of the car from 8 hours, Texas is a cool place, though I am glad to be home, nive girls over there, but I didn't see enough asian chicks, (which made me sad), i felt like something was missing lol. Any way I got back and am smashing normally again, You guys better prepare for Dart, HE IS ONE HECK OF AN ANNOYING FALCO NOW!!!!!!!!!!! He could beat all my characters for about 13 minuts, then I got used to it, and continued to 3 stock him again lol, but yah he is good now.

hehe, I once read a sig that had a picture of marth in it, and it said to the side, "Marth, the only hero manly enough to wear a teara", it was pretty amusinn. And if monety is a problem, then just don't to money matches,

I peersonally wouldn't mind diong normal friendlies all day, I persoanally like the idea of just having some fun, with out stuff on the line, even If I win, I still have much care about the money, and end up giving it back to them anyway, so In my opinion I think they are unneded, but hey thats if you don't raise enough of it, still its your call.

Oh, just a short question for you texas player, do any of you play Zone of the Enders 2 or Armored Core 2 (and up) competiticely. If so then we should play some of that, if not then forget it.

Well I'm a lil mad, I just typed out everything for Tag Team play, Ill just put the basis down, then rewrite it later. Its my older sister and my lil bro's bday today, so Im gonna be a lil busy.

Here is the gist of it:

Choose your tag-teammate.

Best out of 3

Tiers are chosen with a 1-6 die, 1 being top, 6 being bottom.

All stages on, random stages.

After tier is chosen, both players will choose a character within that tier.

Both teams choose one teammate to go first, then the other teammate will go on the next round. If/when it comes to the 3rd match, both teams will decide which will play.

ITEMS WILL BE OFF

Time will be on, 8 minutes.

Ditto matches, after tier is chosen, both players will chose 1 character from the teir, then the ditto will be chosen by die, odds for one character, evens for another.

Let me know if I missed anything.

Vegafuse, sorry about not getting to play you. I got called into work today, and my cellphone was still out of juice... Man, it sucks being me sometimes. Anyway, if you're not too mad at me, we can probably play Thursday. Marc and Patrick will be there.

Also, Shade, I know Marc used to play ZOE 2 quite a bit, so he may be willing to play you a few rounds. I'll run it by him next time I see him. I've got some major practicing to do, before the Houston cats come down. I will be ready.

You need to get all of these random people to go to the tournament. It should increase outcome significantly.

Also Rasta, that idea for tag-team play you have sounds pretty cool! It's like a tournament where you aim to be the most well-rounded player. Vega would do pretty amazingly in that, heh.

It's cool TGM, we will be having the tourny alongside the smashfest. There's no need to worry about participating in the tourny, we'll have casuals going on the whole time. We'll make sure both of them will have equal priority, that would mean no one is going to forcefully stop someone's casual game just because a tourny match is due. Both the tournament and the casuals sections will have an equal amount of TV's and Cubes (hopefully). So we can have our MM's, and no worries about paying to get into any brackets. Just to remind everyone, you CAN play casuals while you wait for you're next tournament match. I don't want to prohibit anyone from doing so, making it a whole lot more tolerable to wait than other tournies (lol MLG, no disrespect though).

BTW, I use to play all of those except MvC2. I don't know which version of GG you play but I have GGXX#Reload (X-Box). This one has Robo-Ky with the original moveset. I'm surprised you don't play 3S though. This is who I use:

GG#R: Baiken, Slayer, Potemkin, Johnny, Sol-Badguy
CvS2: Akuma/M.Bison/Sagat C-groove
SSB: Luigi, Samus
SSF2T: M.Bison, Balrog

YO Rasta: You're probably not seasoned with IC's yet as you are to Roy. So try to figure out the ins and outs with them against a lot of characters on multiple stages. Who did he use against you? And the levels?

As for your TagTeam event, that's actually not bad. If we get into doing that, I'll be lucky to get a 3, 4, 5, or especially 6 on the die. I'm assuming you are going to have it set to 4-stocks though. And are all matches Ditto's? That would even be better for me.

Grav: Cool, you're finally back. Meh, a lot of things kind of happened but I'll try to sum it all up:

1) Muskogee crew returns.
2) Houston called us out.
3) Upcoming OK tourny this June.

Well, that's basically what I can think of at the top of my head. Just to let you know, if you see a couple of'em Houston boyz 'round here, they are prepping up to battle us this July. I guess you could call it a showdown.

He used Dr. Mario, I didnt think much of it, but I didnt know how, his pills always seemed to hit nana. Stage was Onett, jumping around, shooting those pills, I was constantly seperated from nana. He had a pretty good falco for not knowing how to lcancel, actually beat my fox, I wasnt too suprised by that. I seem to always have a hard time against people who main falco. Next time I play him, there is no way Im letting him choose the level, Onett along with spamming pills, seperates the IC way to much. He was lucky I couldnt get the Infinite Grab.

For the Dittos, in a set, if a number appears 2twice in a row, its a ditto match.

And if he just spams pills, sit there, and just press A when they come, it will be a stand off, so the one with more patience wins lol. Thats how I like to fight spamers, and to take care of trigger happy falcoes, just learn to power sheild, then you can let them shoot all they want it wont bother you, LEARN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!. Well it would help anyway. lol.

Also, po (or fresh, cant remember wich one asked) if you need help with marth, then next time we meet, I will set aside some time to go over some tricks with him one on one.

Hmm so roster are you talking about a low teer tournament. If so, that will be amusing to watch lol, I guess I would be in there with Zelda lol. But random characters hmmm personally I think its a silly idea lol, but whatever if everyone takes part I guss i would to.

I remember one time I was playing with some norman people, and then one of them was like: "So that marth chick is hot", we were all silent ust staring at him for like an hour, then my friend said, " Uhh marths a dude man." haha, I am not making fun of my main character, I am just saying i understand why everyone else does. I kinda feel the more you use something you make fun of the worse you do, kinda like respect your character thing, it was just a story that happened and it was kinda funny. Marth is awsome, but most people don't think that.
