Alright fellas, SRKers and I are trying to throw a get-together in Norman either this upcoming Friday or Saturday (April 25th/26th). Who's interested? All the Brawl and Arcana Heart you can handle

i'm guessing i can attend any of those dates.

And as of right now Pablo, June 7th would be the best for me of the dates listed.

If anyone isn't for sure but think there's a really good chance they can go, I'll count those. So far I have Hazy and Plasman down... I'll give you guys about a week and a half before I start making things official.

Also, about Arcana Heart, I don't quite understand why you think it's bad because you won verse people who don't know how to play by pressing buttons, isn't that how most fighters are?

I concur, with the fighter game thing. Played gulty gear and street fighter last time at brets house and found i did much better when mashing buttons than carefully timing attacks. I found an even better thing that works is to spam the down kick button and gaurd here and there though lol.

Oh yeah, that was some greaaaaaaaaat party bret, we had a wii with no wii mote, and i tripped and almost fell following you to your neighbors house in the dark. But the pizza was great. Jeewon has the most awesome sound affects when playing smash though lol.

Yeah, that's her flash step. It doesn't cancel ANY move, just her axel slides but it's still a big part of her game. I don't play her really but I've read she takes a lot of practice with the timing and spacing of her slides. Once you get that down though: .

Most 2d fighting games transition pretty well. If you're good at one, you're probably going to be good at another one. Arcana hearts on the other hand was just hilarious cause you can stomp people by literally not doing anything.

you know if you have oklahoma attempt to act as a democratic politic to many things will go wrong or be overly complex. we had a pretty effective system, i just don't see a reason to deviate. I can resurrect it now, I know how to run a PR. I definitely won't be on the board though, seeing as how I have not been in OK but 2 months of the last 7 months...i dunno. if enough people think we should do it a different way, i'm all for it. i just thought it would be most effective if i had dr. drew unlock my thread, have people nominate and confirm board panalists, and have those panalists send me lists :o
