Rasta: is there a way we could use that venue again or are you totally out of the scene?

i'm trying to get things set in stone so the out of towners i.e. TX peeps can plan on it as well. If I have to plan a room myself, it'll be the weekend of Nov. 16 @ OU since there are home games leading up to that. If you all can provide a room then it'll be the first weekend of Nov.

Andy I don't know if I'm speaking for everyone, but I definitely don't look down on you for not wanting to be competitive. You're right, it's silly to do that. Like Yawara (OMG HE DIDN'T PUT HIS NAME IN HIS LAST POST) said, it's fun having lots of people around to play with...that's what makes a large part of the game enjoyable. I would be sad if I didn't see you at the next smash event, whether it be a smashfest or a tourney.

being disappointed in a smasher because they are deciding that there are more important things in life than smash is pretty stupid.

on top of that, i think its selfish. so what if pablo doesnt want to play games or smash anymore? thats no reason to be disappointed. i cant really express myself well enough right now to get what im trying to say across...

i guess what im trying to say is that looking down on someone for quitting smash is pretty bad...something like that...im really tired so whatever..

Seriously, though, I understand better than most the need to take one or two steps back from competitive gaming... I quit Smash for nearly two years... However, the encouragement of my friends(thanks Marc and Pablo!) and a burning desire to improve brought me back from oblivion.

So, Andy, Babac, and, of course, Pablo... You guys take all the time you need to recharge your batteries. Don't stay strangers. I want to have some crazy-*** Brawl matches with you guys when it's released. Good luck in your future endeavors and please remember that I have mad respect for all of you.

I never really quit, i just dont go out of my way and drop everything for the sake of getting to a smashfest anymore. I guess after ohsnap 3, i didnt feel like it was that important anymore lol, but now adays you got a wide variety of players to practice with that outclass me po, including chris, zinth, and not sure if hes still here but coty to, im sure mark is better than me by now to lol. I never really wanted to admit it, but now that im not as competitive, i don't feel any shame in it now when I say. Back then at the first tourny, i didn't win cus i was good, it was cus everyone else wasn't. And chris, and coty, your a much better player than i am, both in tech skill and mind games. I might reach my limits faster than you guys, but in the long run, my limits arn't as high as yours. So I am really going to admit it now. You win, im not gona lie anymore by saying were even, you work harder you get farther, heh bryan has proved that.

keep in mind that i am NOT going to clone smash bros, the controlls and rules are the same and some stages as well but thats it, the charictors will have diffreant move sets so its not a clone, ill try my best to make tiers have no influence on the outcome of a battle.

also one more thing that makes it not a smash clone is the name is "Absolute 9"
