Oklahoma Thread: Weekly events for all games in OKC and Tulsa

so i was figuring, and i have a good idea. we should go ahead and vote for who we think the two best smashers are, and they can pick their teams one at a time here on smashboards, and we can use dodgeball-style crew battles as a warmup for the tourney. then we'll do real crew battles with the actual crews afterwards. if you guys will say yes, everyone gets 2 votes(cast in by sunday 6pm), we tally those up, and those 2 people can pick, but in a fun way. i'll ask them each to PM me a list from 1-however many smashers we have besides the two captains, and whoever gets first choice will get their first choice, and i'll go down the two lists picking the highest nimber of the person who exists in turns. and if more people don't show up in one crew, we'll just move the people who got picked last over to the other team to even it out. and so what if that makes one team weaker? it's just warmups, and the actual crew battles will be afterwards.

Hmm, I really don't have a clue who the top 2 are so far, seeing as how Marc and Derrick beat me down pretty bad, Heath and Po have improved alot, and I haven't played any other guys outside of my crew for a while....... so If I had to vote, it would be Chris and Shade..... just because I keep hearing how great they are now

Haha, I did, chris beat his falco with Link on FD, 2 stock. From what chis has told me, Kuni wanted to do melee's because thats the only way he could win.

And we went to a bunch of other levels me bryan and chris. we played one on ones for about 5 hours. And Zinths marth is alot better and chris's peach is alot better. Still its not something like it used to be, I can go to other levels besides fd now. At least with shiek and fox.

THAT will be the reason why I ban FD in tournaments against you. I don't think ive improved much, except I can short hop with fox much better than what I could. I'm also trying to learn some infinat (infinite?...whatever..) combos. next time I get with you guys I want one of you to train me a little.

Actually it wouldn't have since tourney matches are 8 minutes. But it is cutting it close.

I personally don't notice or mind Shade running away and shooting me, but I just hate how he always manages to dodge right when I try to grab him after dashdancing.
