Okay,I'm going to be hosting an online tourney(of course) for the smashboards arena participants,anyone can join,just not professional players,I don't like pros,and I don't want them in a tourney for fun,that's just making it competitive,not fun...
But anyway,to join in,you must comment down below,and state what characters you will use,you can pick 5 characters...
I will choose Kirby,lucas,PT,Ice climbers,and my Ike...
the tourney will be held sometime tonight...

General rules​

-3 stocks

-10 minute time limit

-Sets are 2/3. Winners finals, Losers finals, and Grand finals are 3/5.

-Items are set to “Off” and “None”

-All infinites and chain grabs are legal.

-Meta Knight’s Infinite Cape glitch and Extended Cape glitch are banned.

-There is a ledge grab limit of 35 for Meta Knight and 50 for all other characters. If a game goes to time and one player goes over the ledge grab limit for their character, they will automatically lose the game. If both players exceed their ledge grab limit, then this rule is ignored.

-The act of stalling is banned.

-If time runs out, the winner of the match will be the one called out by the game. If it goes to Sudden Death, then it is determined by percentage. If the percentage is the same then a one stock 3 minute tie break match is held. Ledge grab limits are reduced to 13 for Meta Knight and 18 for all other characters.

-The only other exception to this is the game ending from is Kirby's, Ganondorf's, Bowser's, and D3's suicide tactics. If the match ends with both of you dying from their suicide tactics the player who initiated the move wins.

Stage rules​

-Stage strike for the starter. You may start on a stage without striking if agreed on by both players.

-You may play on any stage for your counter pick as long as both players agree on it.

-The process of stage striking is 1-2-2.

-You get 2 bans since the CP list is somewhat janky.

-Dave's stupid rule applies for all sets. (Which means you can't pick a stage you already won on unless agreed on by both players.)
