edit: calvo, none of the answers posted in that ****ty general discussion thread you made were actually any good. just a word of caution, NEVER listen to anything Insane Carzy Guy says, he's literally ********. and most of the other people in there suk too

the fact is, melee is a lot faster than brawl. when you play brawl, you're probably a little too twitchy for the game's engine so you find yourself doing things that the game doesn't allow you to do (trying to dashdance or combo or whatever). and when you play melee, your lack of deliberate movements manifests in you not being able to handle your character fluidly. sounds like the same problem manifesting itself in different ways in melee/brawl

you should just stop focusing on trying to dashdance or wavedash for the sake of dashdancing or wavedashing, and focus more on the end result - hitting/grabbing your opponent, winning games. these movement techniques are just means to that end so if you focus more on the end result, play with good players (go to tournament more... play with otto more) and try to figure out/ask them what you're doing wrong you'll be fine in no time.

i suck hardcore at melee. which i want to get better at because its one of those fighters where even low tiers have a chance at winning. Where as brawl on the other hand, any time a low tier beats a high tier its because the high tier player sucks apparently >.>

my low tier main will be... i dunno yet lul

I'd be interested in going to that seeing as I didnt get to go to October gc. Still working on getting a capture card for November gc.
