hierarchy is normally understood to be a rank of order but it can also mean just a singular group
one of the definitions from dictionary.com:
"A body of persons having authority."

now im dissapointed :(
i was so looking forward to a reply :p

So you ARE an authority now? You just said you weren't. Like, in that long post, you literally say "it is not an authority." You're confusing the hell out of me.

You're certainly no group of angels or a graded/ranked series of any sort.

I don't get the last part of your post.

ok sorry, wrong wording
were not an authority in a way as we dont tell people what to do and solely run the crew
but we do decide on the final decision of a topic when a decision is needed
it doesnt matter what its called. hierarchy just sounds cool

lol. this **** is so ********.

honestly, this is why everyone blows, ha. honestly if it was up to me, TOS never woulda let anyone in except for the people that even decided to make TOS in the first place. that woulda been a small group of people but like...thats all it was, and thats all it should of been. this is just ******** now, lol.

this however doesnt mean that i dont like any members of the crew outside is "og's" lol. mad people are awesome that i've met. pretty much everyone actually, but i havent met a lot of you so i cant say.

kick everyone out and make mitri the sole owner of TOS. thats my vote

so thinking about the ToS Fest...

Where should it be held? There's pretty much two locations: South Jersey or Philly.

If it's in South Jersey, I can get it at one of two places:
My house - it would be free, ok space, cool location with being able to grill up food (this would cost money though for ppl). it would more likely be based outside.
Arcade - Location for SatS. This was a little cramped for SatS, but that had over 40 people. This would have 30 max and probably around 20. The only food possibility here though is nearby shops like some pizza, Wawa, etc. This would cost between $5 and $10 to cover the cost of the venue however. (maybe like $10 for everyone then all extra money (since idk how much each person would pay this we see how many ppl show up) would go to the winner of a draft crew battle or something) The actual area is smaller than my house, but it's inside, there's arcade games downstairs, and we don't have to worry about my parents or lil brother if they're at my house which could possibly be annoying.

If it's in Philadelphia:
My apartment - Right now this is not possible with my current living situation. If my roommate moves out soon after all his stuff is moved out I could possibly arrange things to get like 20 people to fit in there. This would be free, though the least amount of space of all options. Again though, this is really iffy and not preferred due to the difficulty of my living situation.
Drexel Venue - I'm not sure if this is possible because I've used up all my rental spaces for this term for tournaments... Though one of the things I have confirmed is a venue for CoT5, but I think I'm going to cancel it because the venue I had reserved (CoT3 venue) wasn't going to come with any chairs or tables. So we can either work on tables and chairs and get CoT5, or get some minimal equipment and hold ToS Fest. I could also switch the venue to one that does have tables and chairs, like the biweekly venue. This would be free. Theres a small chance I could maybe do ToS Fest and CoT5, I would have to work with Drexel and scheduling. Nothing can be reserved at Drexel after 7 or so weeks from now.

as for convinience of location, either works really. theres about an equal amount of members in philly and south jersey.

I vote for the Drexel venue in Philly if it's possible.

The arcade in Jersey sounds cool too, but it sounds like it'll be a little expensive with the venue fee + food costs and whatnot.... I wouldn't have a problem with it, personally, but I know a lot of people are broke nowadays.

That, and it seems like it's harder/less convenient to get from Philly > NJ (for people who live in Philly) than it is to get from NJ > Philly (for vice versa), but since I don't live in Jersey, I don't know this for sure. I'm just assuming since.... I know nothing about getting to non-major cities in Jersey, but people in Jersey are probably somewhat familiar with getting to Philly.

I guess my third vote (these "votes" are in order of preference, btw) would be your house.

Doesn't really matter to me, though. I'll manage to get to wherever it is as long as I'm not working that day.

getting from philly to south jersey and vice versa is practically the same. getting to philly/drexel is hoppin on the train, getting off at 30th, then walking to my place. getting to brigantine is getting on the same train in the opposite direction, getting off at AC then either having someone drive u to the venue or taking a single bus that goes from the train terminal right to the same corner the arcade is on, or a short walk away from my house. the arcade venue fee sucks, but having a seperate place is kind of cool. im persoanlly leaning towards my house, so we can BBQ it up lol, and my back yard is pretty big. i would have a canopy thing over like all of it, so TVs under there wont have glare. we finished SatS at my house and everyone loved it much more than the arcade and wish I held the whole thing there lol.

i think to avoid difficulties with drexel, to get it done soon, and to have an awesome location im almost sure im gonna do it at my house. i already asked my parents and its not a problem. il do it some saturday coming up in a few weeks. what date works best for everyone? only tos will be allowed to come.

for transportation from philly, its either a ~1.2 hour drive, or u can hop on a train at 30th st for $8 which will take u to AC in 1.5 hours then u can take a bus from there to brigantine (idk the price, but its cheap).
il have 4 TVs i think which is enough, but it would be cool if someone could bring an extra one or something if driving. im sure mexi will be able to bring one so thats 5

Any Friday or Saturday. Sundays are iffy for me.... and I prefer Fridays since transportation runs later/more often during the weekdays, and I hate waiting. :urg:

My work schedule rotates from week to week, though.... the only days I'm guaranteed off are Mondays.

Lol. Ok then, for me, it doesn't matter which weekend.... I'll probably have off unless they call me last-minute.

(Saturdays are my "on call" days, but I can usually get out of it if I really want to.)
