I didn't say I didn't want one, I just said that I don't know why we need one. We're in a club in which its main focus is Sonic, but anyone is allowed to play as whoever they want. What is an alliance supposed to do exactly? A little shift in focus, simply resulting in more members?
EDIT: ...although an alliance with Mario WOULD be interesting. It's time for Sonic and Mario to kiss and make up.

Seriously, they need to really dig into each other's mouths to the point where Sonic can taste Mario's spaghetti, which he had earlier on a picnic with Peach in Hotel Mario... DOH.

I'm with Garuda. What's the point of an alliance? As long as we're not opposition, I don't see why it's necessary.

Hmmm our focus will always be Sonic. We won't have to take care of mario and make him improve game wise. all we would'ave gotten is some friends to do teams with. Thats the best point of having an alliance. you exchance friends codes with them and with your enemies, then you can make clan team battles because seriously double sonic will prolly suck. I'm saying this, because team battles are just much more funny than singles. Well to me at least it is because its harder considering you need a much better concentration on the whole situation.

There ya go. alliances will just bring to much complexity. Not worth it. Plus, how many more people/members do we really wanna keep track of.
Be a member of a group you want, and if you wanna play other character, go on by ur own will. As easy of that.

smashbro besides the fact that we like mario and some mained him....give me a good reason why we should desire an Alliance? Because I like all but Rob and Ganon in Brawl and I mained Falco (and now Sonic/Pit)

You won't have to keep list of the other group's members. if the clan are good enough they'll get a sign so we know who's who.
Having a fight is nice, but who are you gonna team with? You seem overly stuck on singles, I don't plan to play singles all the time. If we ally another clan we can ensure that other dude we'll play with in teams isn't going to use Sonic. I personnaly wouldn't do any team match using 2 sonics that'd be horrible.

I agree with Sieg, would rather not have any alliances. I just don't want to learn a whole bunch of new names, only to forget them in ten minutes. We don't need alliances to team up with other characters. I am sure you guys will be using other characters too. We can just keep the teams withing the clan if needed. If you do have a friend in another clan, then by all means, team up if you want. That does not, however, constitute an alliance between two "factions".

Then it's settled. No Alliances at all (For now anyway, like if we decide to). The SSS is still alone, but still strong (At least I hope that's what you think). I can see the SSS going way past a year old. We will only Ally if it is REALLY Necessary. But now isn't the time.
And sorry if political issues scare you Lime. But at least it is fair in voting.

As much as I like SMBZ, that doesn't apply to Brawl.
We already resolved that we will not be aligned. So don't ask again, how ever do not antagonize us. We can still challenge eachother to Brawls after March 9th.

thanks for considering guys allies or not i'm rather eager to face all of you guys i'll be using anyone in my sig (or anyone else i like i haven't played the game yet) when you need an alliance tell us because sonic is awesome oh and i still consider our groups to be on a friendly bases we all like mario and sonic just a matter of prefrence

Those are really nice SilentDrifter. Many people would like those for sure.
I can't wait to main Sonic casually. Since I will probably never ever go to a competitive place for Brawl.

If we ever plan for allying (We may never, but just a Suggestion). Luigi's "Green Thunder" might be a good group. Luigi's reports are very good, and it could be worthwhile. But of course this is only if we will get some. I am not suggesting we should have one. As I am only 1 out of the 10 major members of the SSS. And even though I founded it, can not have the power over the other 9.

No not yet. The large images of the characters come from the Dojo. So there are a few characters I haven't made vertical bars for yet until there's an official image of them.
