Official Ness Vs Metaknight help

Okay so i guess ness has alot of trouble with me.... and fellow metaknights...
if you want some advice/help from me.... post problems... and ill try my best...
i only will do this cuz ness is so cute :D

How can a Ness effectively gimp or spike Metaknight? I know it's much easier on Green Greens but it seems nigh impossible anywhere else.

Oh, and what's the best way to mindgame MK into a KO? (PKT2, bat, b-air, or b-throw)

I hate getting grabbed, but it seems like he out-ranges me (I find nothing more annoying trying to do something to my opponent only to have him do it to me first).

I haven't played many metaknights, but I don't agree with that. Metaknight has stupidly insane recovery which lets him recover from any horizontal distance. Sure, at maybe 150% bthrowing will probably KO, but since Metaknight is a light character it is easier to get vertical KOs at lower percentages. Ness's uair is the perfect KOing move against Metaknight

B-throw kills off the top in the low 100's vs MK I think. Yeah, Uair is a good killer if MK will let you land it. Generally you can't land much besides a fair vs him in the air.

You can land falling upair's on him. It works. well. Try auto canceled down air---> short hop fast falling up air. You will need to practice the timing but it's worth it. If he tried to grab you it should hit since you'll be rising during his jump animation and falling is real quick.

NEVER Call finishing an aerial in a short hop before you land to make it so that you dont have lag an auto cancel.

That's not cancelling anything. It's just proper use of a shuffle.

PLEASE realize that autocancelling is using certain aerials and landing to experience landing lag that has IASA frames on the first frame which you can cancel with any action.

This is driving me (And Tyr) nuts.

Anyway, disregarding EB360's anger....
Does the...uh..."proper shuffle" involve hitting MK with both hits?
could you explain this further? I can't exactly understand your wording.

He means use a dair in the air out of a short hop, finish it in the air then fastfall (not autocancel!). This should pop MK up enough to short hop oncemore and use an uair.

I've noticed some things about some of my MK vs. Ness fights...other then the fact that he is very annoying to fight...

1. Shuttle Loop vs. Shoe to the head=Metaknight flying down into a pit and Ness flying to the direction of the stage...or it may just knock him off back out there...but still...it might KO MK as well at least...

2. BF is going to stay as my favorite stage for quite a bit...

3. PK Fire vs. Tornado=MK getting stuck in the middle of the pillar...now you just have to deal with the start up time for PK Fire...

4. Keeping your distance and being defensive is pretty much your best bet...MK has Ness beat in offense by almost around 99.99%

5. If you are going to make an offense...Meh...just use the normal offense starter....

No, what I meant is to drop an up air into metaknight as you're coming down on him.

The reason he won't be able to hit you while you're doing it is because you faked him by down airing first right next to him. He'll try to grab you out of the down air but if you timed it right it has no lag and you jump again right after, setting up your falling up air.
