Earlier today. Popped on and I had a cool red banner under my nameWhen did you get Moderator? Hahaha. Also thank you Achilles! You started the 20XX pack and it got me interested in melee hacks as a whole.
I recall the pixel CSP was made by Steelia. 99% sure.
I hate to keep asking for things lol but do you also have the texture where it changes the "Ready..Go!" in the beginning of the match? thanks a bunchI'm trying to edit the dust and smoke effects present on most ground based moves. I know they're located in EfCoData.dat. I dumped the textures, and these are the types I found (dumped as png files):
_0 (I4)
_1 (I8)
_2 (IA4)
_3 (IA8)
I tried to convert one of them to .tpl with wimgt (a handy tool for converting to and from .tpl that I found so I didn't have to deal with tcs scripts). But I couldn't find the resulting .tpl in EfCoData. Do the above types of textures not exist as tpl within the ISO? Could it be that within the ISO, the transparency is saved as the color magenta (just like CSPs) but when Dolphin dumps the textures it modifies them with an actual alpha layer and removes the color? I noticed that the CSPs that dolphin dumps don't have a magenta background, and this reasoning could explain why I couldn't find my converted tpl in EfCoData (since my file didn't use magenta as transparency).
I don't get it. Anybody got any ideas on how to locate these textures? Here are the textures if you think you might be able to figure this out.
Here you go: Rage quit pause screen (v3)
lol sure. The DBZ one? That's the only one I know of. (The original file is included.)I hate to keep asking for things lol but do you also have the texture where it changes the "Ready..Go!" in the beginning of the match? thanks a bunch
yesss thank you so much!lol sure. The DBZ one? That's the only one I know of. (The original file is included.)
Not a program, but a code. I got these from Arcentral.net, but I can't access that website [on this computer] to give credit to whoever wrote these.I noticed some of Achilles' texture hacks have t-pose renders. Is there a program for that?
Dagnabbit. Thought I'd be able to make CSPs from it. Guess not.Not a program, but a code. I got these from Arcentral.net, but I can't access that website [on this computer] to give credit to whoever wrote these.
Posing Characters

Characters Face Forward In-Game

Posing Characters messes with animations and when characters start matches they will be in reference pose. And throughout the match they will be locked into a single frame from certain animations they experience. It's a little weird but fun to play around with. Characters will also be in this pose during their victory screen (where that picture of CATS Marth came from). I then use vanilla melee with the "Results Test" debug menu to quickly grab pictures from all costumes of a character.
But like I said, playing with the code in-game is quite hilarious and intriguing.
What do you mean? Why wouldn't you be able to?Dagnabbit. Thought I'd be able to make CSPs from it. Guess not.
If it was a program I'd be able to make custom poses, hence CSPs.What do you mean? Why wouldn't you be able to?
If only we had access to model filesIf it was a program I'd be able to make custom poses, hence CSPs.

Wrong format! Added though.
When using this, the character costume portraits are all custom, though I have none of the costumes. Would there be a way to change the character icons, but keep the costume pictures the same?
This should be what you're looking for. When using this, the character costume portraits are all custom, though I have none of the costumes. Would there be a way to change the character icons, but keep the costume pictures the same?
Could you care to elaborate? As far as I know, the only thing that file should be replacing is the character icons and not the CSPs. If the CSPs are really different from the stock ones, I'll just upload mine because I know it only changes the icons. When using this, the character costume portraits are all custom, though I have none of the costumes. It is, thanks! This should be what you're looking for.
Pixel icons, original CSPs: mediafire .com/?g7g683e2k71y29r (had to add a space before ".com" because i have less than 10 posts).
The character icons in the css were the pixel icons, but in the player spots (Where it shows the player and what character they chose) it was showing modded costumes. When entering the game, no costumes were modded that I hadn't downloaded from the thread already. The link that Heckran supplied fixed it, and I scanned it already with MBAM and AVG.Could you care to elaborate? Got it. Changed the link. The character icons in the css were the pixel icons, but in the player spots (Where it shows the player and what character they chose) it was showing modded costumes. models-resource.com/gamecube/ssbm/ (The models here have slightly messed up UVW maps, though.)If it was a program I'd be able to make custom poses, hence CSPs.
