Seems like the only character Hungrybox is really decent with out of those four is Mario and possibly Olimar. Your Kirby is nice. Definitely showed me one or two things I didn't know. You've definitely integrated up-tilt into your game better than I have, and I should definitely down-throw more. We'll have to Kirby ditto if you ever get out of Florida and come to a tournament in Georgia or Alabama or something, or if I go crazy, I'll make it to a Florida tournament one of these days.

I have to say that first matches with Mario were disappointing, but I really like your use of tilts as well as using kirby's Dair. I think you could have integrated a little bit more use of the kirbycide and hammer though.

the hammer is harder and riskier to use. especially against who my opponent who is equally smart. he would punish me hard for that. i am working on implementing the hammer more right now. like i said, i cant do much against mario. he really doesnt get combo'd and doesnt fall for kirby's grab combos. so its gonna look weak regardless IMHO. and we're pretty close in skill level, so its hard to really **** the other. wait for vids of me vs fast fallers. i have a lot of cool tricks.

Needs moar stone and hammer! Other than that, pretty nice.
Your approach did get pretty predictable after a while, though. I could see what you were gonna do against Olimar from a mile away most of the time... just my opinion.

there's not much you can do. you just have to be patient and space when using kirby. just how jiggs was in melee. simple predictable approachesm but with the right spacing and timing, you could overcome.

You did pretty good. A couple of things that I would mention right away is to not forget that the aerial hammer is good for a recovery move and don't forget that you could still drop out of the ledge into a fair instead of just using the final cutter. Mix it up a bit. If you do live in South Florida then you should come visit sometime for Kirby dittos. I could teach you a thing or two.

Now, I'm not trying to rag on you here bro. but I think you give your Kirby a bit more credit than it deserves and because of this you might not be allowing yourself room to learn. Maybe you just have a naturally cocky attitude, but whenever I see you post, you kind of act like you are the best Kirby and the authority on Kirby. I'm not saying you are bad. You definitely need work and you have some wrong views on Kirby.

I really don't believe this is true. There are a ton of ways to approach. And if you play Kirby well your opponent shouldn't have a clue what's coming next. I'm not going to go over them all here (but if you want to know my approaches go ahead and PM me)

I agree that the hammer and stone are punishable and situational, but if you get proficient with them their benefits FAR outweigh their cons. Plus, half of slower characters moves are just as punishable. An air hammer is AMAZING for killing an opponent trying to recover from off stage. The rock is useful against someone trying to uair you to death(except sonic and MK cause theyre fast b!tches, I killed someone I cant remember who at ~40% with a stone near the upper boundary). It is also great against someone trying to charge an usmash, or simply for fast falling or mindgaming.

I watched one video vs each opponent you have posted and none really stood out to me as roflcopteromgtahtizdehnutzorxz awesome. (Maybe you should consider consolidating them into a "Best of Kirby H1roshi" post and just have the rest of the vids at the bottom of the post.) You play a proficient Kirby. It needs work, but so does mine and everyone else's.

Kirby is not a "patient" character by any means. He should be all over his opponent like a crazed and rabid mouse trying to take down a panther.

Lastly, you seriously need to work on spotdodging, shield grabbing, pivot grabbing, psuedo-spiking, and usmashing. You have a good Kirby, just don't get full of yourself. I personally believe mine is better than yours, but don't take offense. I don't have any vids anyway o.O

uhh... Well, he's been proving his Kirby prowess, I barely ever see anyone else doing so. Heck, even I can say that I'm better than him with Kirby, but I won't be able to prove it with just words... Maybe a match, or some videos would help me prove my point, but just saying he's an "ego-maniacal self-centered over-estimated hyped Kirby idiot" (more or less what I caught by what you said in both your posts) won't help you prove to him that he's bad.

IMO, most of his matchups in the videos are against very very good people (especially the MKs... Evil MKs), so he probably didn't have much choice but to wait for an opening. Of course it's true he needs to integrate Kirby's hop-mallet and 2-mallet swings, and if you consider this, you can see he's a pretty decent Kirby user. I could hear the button mashing in my head while seeing the video on the top (MK vs. Kirby).

Oh, and if you DO fight him, Kirby vs. Kirby, save the replay... I'd DIE to see the outcome of that match. You would either shut h1ro up, or you would be shut up... Whichever the outcome, I bet that video will be a VERY interesting match, due to your prides at stake.

I can't imagine that beating H1ro would shut him up, I also can't imagine he would be willing to stake his personal title as "teh sick pro FEMALE Kirby," so I'm not really anticipating much, but if he accepts I'll save it for you. Hopefully there's minimal lag though, cause I don't play much online.

Well smiley... if all goes as planned. My Kirby will be recorded at a big tourney in Scranton, PA in a couple weeks. It all depends on if the fella with the equipment shows up. H1ro's vids are effective for seeing some advanced Kirby tech in action, but I can name a lot of things he doesn't do... I'm not going to, but I could.

again, it wouldnt shut me up. i lose to people. all the time. im pretty even with a lot of smashers in my area, which are mostly me crew. but that doesnt shut me up.

BTW, he isn't overhyped... I mean if you look at this thread, its been up for quite a while and there are only two pages. He overhypes himself is all. And he is closed minded. He makes himself look like an idiot... I mean look at his response to my long and thoughtfully written critique on his Kirby... that says it all.
