haha the only part about the trash talk wasnt that it was offensive it was that o-no's jokes are too hard not to laugh at, and then u look like a jerk laughing at a joke against ur own team. Dont stress over the trash talk thing, we dont care, its just a game.

Nervousness can be a large part of it. I used to **** people in friendlies but then lose to those same people in tournament/crew battles because I choked really hard. The more tournaments you attend, the better it'll get.

honestly, i'd chalk it up to nervousness. at any rate, theres a certain amount of importance in self awareness, and if you think you suck, you can't be as bad as people who don't know it. besides that, if you see things and think '****, thats dumb, i should do x instead', then you're one step closer to doing x instead.

Agreed completely. I know I joke around sometimes about not wanting to give money to Tope. However, when it comes down to it, I'd enter singles if others would. I know I'm going to lose first round, but it's fun, and it's the only guarentee I have of playing when I go to a fest. SoVa needs to up the ante a bit, and suck it up. Hell, I'm honered when I just play Tope in a friendly. I'd love to be able to work myself up to finals with him one day, but the fact is, I want it to be a challenge the whole way. I don't want to play him in finals because I was the only one who signed up. Then it just turns into a ****ing money match.

Much love to Tope, and I think, if I make it to Richmond on the 11th, I might just get in on singles action.

lol, it's more like seeing myself play and be like...who the hell am i supposed to be attacking? it helps if you aim attacks in the general direction of your opponent ie don't fair on a a y link below you..or throw out random grabs at a falco that's on the other side of the screen...but yes..i will work on taht

watched the a teams matches of people i know...good stuff...wth though at the rollout at the end schoolie;p

also, i feel better after watching ether vs xlax...so i'm not the only marth who hates sheik...though x-lax beat me in a true set..i think he won marth vs sheik..and then i won fox vs sheik once and lost the second time? i forget.

but ya...both he and ohno beat me with their sheik's..cause she is a campy *****^^

Schoolie's rollout was a mindgame. He knew that I knew that he normally does rollout to grab the edge, and so this time he was going to release it early to hit me. I suspected that this was the case, and I realized I could smash him off the stage. However, if I was wrong and Schoolie just went to the edge, I would whiff the fsmash, and schoolie could punish me. I had to make a decision, and I just happened to guess right.

Or maybe it wasn't that complicated. >.>

No Johns against XLAX's Sheik, but I feel that I can do better.

I feel you on this one. If they're not on youtube or we don't have an update by Friday, I move Cow posts them, or if he doesn't want to, I will.

Also, I'll do the editing if Zion sends me the live videos.

EDIT: I said **** it, stayed up all night, and as a result have the first set of editing done (with what I had to work with), to be uploaded when i can split the video (does anyone know how to get around youtube's 10 min restriction?).

And no, we've been getting on Zion as well. I thought I told you guys but I guess I was wrong and only told some people in person. 1) (and I can attest to the credibility of this next statement as it's happened to me) he uploaded all of B-Teams..............and then YouTube decided "..........no. No you didn't." I have no idea why, but many times have I uploaded vids, gotten the confirmation page and everything...and then never see the video ;____;

to make matters worse, we tried re-uploading them last week, and his harddrive isn't being recognized by his laptop or something ridiculously inconvenient like that.

Also: Cow no longer has the game footage, if I understand correctly. As for the live audio, the camera wasn't always aimed at the TV [sometimes for entire matches] and worse, the camera doesn't continuously film!!!!! It cuts itself off after like 4 minutes, with no notice of it happening either. So unless the cameraman is giving his undivided attention and hitting record with frame-perfect timing [lawl], chunks are missing mid-match and sometimes, when everyone would get so caught up in the match that it was hard to remember this issue with the camera, the remainder of the match would be gone. [please excuse my lack of proper sentence structure...though I only apologize because W&M is watching]
