NP man. Yeah, you should definitely come down soon. And damn, if you have an extra CRT TV, that would be awesome! Also, congrats on the win.

woohoo! jimmyjoe is BACK from the metaphorical dead that is hand injuries. Man NY/NJ is so good for smash, i'm jealous.

If only there was more players in Washington. Maybe ill start up SSB at GameClucks again some day now that lots of Melee players show up there.

Good to hear from ya Jimmyjoe! Down to play too with greginator also. I'm out of town for apex unfortunately.. But lets set this up. Right now we are in the process of organizing a smash tournament here with a cash buy-in at NYU and absolutely destroying noobs who don't know the advanced techniques that think they are good at smash. Although sloppy joe may seem like a troll account, we are just down to play some good competitive smash. Except in regards to battlecow, who is still a novice.

I am down for some SMASH. I think Friday evening would be good time for tournament as people who work in the city can go right afterwards :awesome:

Also, I'm thinking about organizing a biweekly smashfest for Apex training. Maybe my place or someone who is willing to host within the NYC metropolitan area.

I'm willing to host Smash at my place. I live at 66th and 1st. My living room is a decent size with two couches. TV has about a frame of lag but I'm looking into getting an old tube TV off craigslist. If there are people who don't mind on playing on the 1 frame TV we can have two TVs going at once.

Might also go to NYU tonight to play SloppyJoe and friends. Sensei - I'll PM you my number so we can figure out some times to make this happen.

That would be perfect. There is a parking garage right by my building and almost always parking on the street. Should we set date and make a new thread for this?

Hey I just saw this thread and thought I'd post say I'm always down to play smash 64. I prefer to play it on the wii using a gamecube controller personally, but I'll still play it on an actual n64 if I have to.

I'm definitely down for regular smash 64 fests. :)

So I actually don't know if hosting it at my place is gonna work out. But I'm definitely still down to do a mini Smash fest if SloppyJoe or anyone else can host it. I can bring N64, controllers, etc.
