Well kudos if it works.

EDIT:
1) do you have to boost grab after the shffdl?
2) can this lead into a boost smash?
3) if it doesnt require a boost grab can you than boost pivote to turn it around

A boost pivote grab takes the same amount of time as a normal grab though >_>
I mean you can boost pivote grab in your 1st chaingrab that uses a normal grab. So they much grab at the same time frame. Are you sure you cant turn it around?

I think so. To my understanding, d throw will not have any hitstun when the lasers are to connect, so the opponenet can airdodge. Still, idk.

even then, still another free grab... if they try to jump the lazors will most likely hit them
this is made of win.if u dont shoot the lazers fast of enough then yes they can air dodge but youll be close enough to them to regrab anyway

Umm just putting this out there did you test it out of training mode because training mode doesnt intput move decay that can make or break a chain grab.

I think this is a Legit Trap and nothing else.

Will certain Characters be able to attack out of this though, the ones with the quick Fairs? I think Marth has frame advantage, not really sure.

I will test this out on some crewmates.

if only there was some way of influencing your direction...

****.

Air dodging may actually get you caught in the grab as you land from the airdodge, depending on the character.
Holy Halibuts batman!

i assumed he had tested all types of DI when he tried on his cousin...

it doesnt work on floaties already tried it against my cousin's lucario. however it did work on snake ganon and ike, which leaves me to assume it works on heavies/fast fallers.

Well if this is legit, then falco vs. Snake is in falcos favor.

And if i get mk banned with the social group in my sig(chek it out) then falco is #1.

Alright I'm gonna go do some testing now.

But to be honest, I don't like the name you've given for it :p

I'll make a list of who this can be done to (hopefully).

We know, and the folks here at SmashBoards aren't big fans of people who do that. It makes you sound self centered and not very intelligent.
How i mean his name is close to Lazer and it uses Lazers i think Lazee matches it pretty well >_>

I looked at this for about 10 seconds and just closed the window. There is such a large window of opportunity for the other player to air dodge it's almost not even funny. This is a good way to get another grab in, but I'm basically 100% sure you can DI or dodge out of this.

i didnt see a reason not to it might as well be called lazer grabbing(that was my original idea) and just switched it to lazee lol didnt see that being really self centered

Ok looks like my assumption was right.

This is incredibly easy to escape. After falco dthrows snake can just airdodge and DI away from falco, and then when he lands he can just spotdodge or roll away to avoid another grab.

Sure, it works if the lasers connect but most players will airdodge after a dthrow.

Yeah, I'm not near a Wii so I can't test, but this looks reeeeeeeally easy to escape from. Airdodge>Cypher, counterattack etc. = safe

I think we should just call this Laser/Lazer Grabbing.

Still, i wanna test it out. might break falco even more

edit: can snake pull a grenade during all this?

He probably can. I tested this out and snake can airdodge the lasers and then spotdodge another grab attempt when he lands. Either way it's escapable.

Would've been awesome if this worked :(

Ive been doing a similar thing for awhile, i never thought to grab but usually what i did was just shorthop lazer lazer up smash, this works great for a kill move but once i did it to them once they could dodge or di out of it.,

^ Yeah that's a staple of Falco killing moves

SHDL>DACUS, but it is escapable. Usually, most people don't reach fast enough and don't realize how far Falco can slide with his boost smash, so we get a kill.

Doesn't work all the time though.
