norcal/bay area driving help? (GOT AN APPOINTMENT IN OAKLAND Aug 26th @ 2PM!!!)

well i basically am asking anyone if i can use their car to my drivers test?

trust me i asked people, if i had someone who would do it, i wouldn't have made this thread lol

i kinda need help doing that backing along the curb thing, and parrell parking (but i heard most places don't make you parrellel park) and thats it really

yea im gonna try set an appointment soon

but yea any help is much appreciated

Yeah you don't have to parallel park most likely. Depending on which DMV you go it's much harder/easier. I've heard some DMV's have like 80% pass rate, and others that have 30% pass rate. So do your homework and figure out which one is the easiest. If you have a friend who took it, ask him where they take you. Otherwise just go around the area to get comfortable.

they make you just reverse along a curb for 30 feet or so, to make sure you can back up straight

if you have a set of railroad tracks, and a stop sign immediately after that, even though there is room to squeeze in between the sign and the tracks, stop before you even cross the tracks
