Any type of help would be great for either players.

For these matches i was trying to get my combos down so i can use them more accuartly.
The Combos i need work on:

SH fast fall Nair -> Utilt
Jab->Jab->Cancel->Dtilt->Dsmash
Variations of the combos above ha =]

I posted these in the Sheik boards for some help. Oh, and you don't have to label me as De Uh/Saki. Just Saki. I just like that smashtag.

We all know Sheik should be at least low of mid. Lucas, I don't know. Little kids don't deserve more than Bottom of the Worst of Terrible tier.

hmm not bad;

couple of things...

-try running and nairing more; (when you nair, try to make your momentum fall back just enough to you wont get shield grabbed)
-seemed like you were chasing him at times, you don't need to chase unless you're definite you're gonna hit him

-i liked your run --- jab -- jab -- cancel -- ftilt

other than that; ur lucas is decent; more decent than most of the others on here.

I'll say it one time, Nair to Utilt is extremely overrated.

Start fast falling your Nairs. Stop missing autocancels on aerials in general. You might as well put a big target on your chest. You're just lucky that your opponent didn't take full advantage of your errors. Randomly using Nairs during knockback is not a good idea. And if you're going to miss the autocancel on Dair you better get some hits with it or you should be in for some pain. Your off the edge game is really lacking. You're spending way too much time getting back on the stage when you could be snake tethering on and then ledgecamping.

LUCAS HAS AN AMAZING LEDGECAMPING GAME. START USING IT!!!
Here's how: Snake tether stall. Ledge hop Fair with fastest timing. Ledgehop PK Fire PKT2 back to ledge. Ledgehop PKT1. Mix and match the previously mentioned depending on opponent spacing and behaviour. Wait for the opponent to back off and allow you to get back on the stage. Use the distance you have to renew your defensive projectile spacing.

Agreed.
I LOVE Lucas' ledgecamping game.
Stalling by regrabbing with the tether a few times.
If my opponent guards close, i ledgehop at him with fair or dair, then DI back to the ledge and tether it again. Until i think i've got him and i can get back on with a nair or he backs off.
Maybe even mix a zap jump or PKT2 at the opponent if you feel risky.
Or just regrab a few times and roll/attack on without doing anything.
So many options.

i knew jab cancel was useful for Lucas :)
Yes.....yes it is

Nair to Utilt is not over rated and should be in everyones game.
Its an extra aproach.

Also, my nairs are fast falling (to get the utilt after, you have to fast fall...step your game up)

My ledge game does need to be worked on, so il try the tethering, but i wont work in something i already do and you fail to notice =/.

Last, i dont play defensive. I hate it, it bores me to death so i play aggressive. It seems more fitting for how i play. Thinking playing defensive is the best offense is disregarded. Sry.

Snake tether stall doesn't work so well against some characters. MK can just d-air and stagespike you.

I can safely disagree with Tyr on this one in that I HAVE found SH nair > u-tilt to be effective.

And yes, tether stall doesn't work against everything lol

Noraa: SH Nair to Utilt works fine in that it is a combo that will deal damage to your opponent. However it sends them upward at which point you have very few viable options. Lucas is a horrible juggler. Whereas if you go for the final hit of your nair with knockback, you can chase for more SH Nairs or PK Fire etc. leading into edgeguarding which Lucas is amazing at.

Obviously tether stalling isn't a good idea if your opponent is right next to you and in a position to for example Dair you. You simply use it to renew some invincibility frames and continue pestering with PKT1 edgestalls or PK Fires. If they are close enough to the stage to dair you during some ledgecamping you should easily be able to use Fair and hit them away. The snake is not always the best way to get to the stage either. That's why you have PKT2 with ridiculous range. If they're edgehogging simply overshoot and fall back to the ledge if they get up. I simply commented that you're leaving yourself completely open by recovering so high onto the stage. Look at 1:35 on the first video. Honestly the only thing that kept you from getting killed by an edgeguard there was luck that your opponent wasn't smart enough to predict your airdodge.

You do not need to fast fall Nairs to get the utilt in. This is why it became such an early combo. And I can guarantee that you're not fast falling all of your SH Nairs as early as possible while maintaining your autocancel just by watching. Oh and stop trying to do SH Fairs as an approach. If it is shielded or spotdodged it is easily punishable. You're fortunate your opponent was nice and roll happy so he didn't shieldgrab every single one of those.

I have to say I'm not too worried about stepping up my game considering I beat Overswarm's ROB 4 out of 5 in friendlies last time I played him. Money match me anytime you happen to be in Cincinnati. I could use some extra cash.

Don't be stupid. Lucas is not an aggressive character. His aerials have pathetic priority and range. Play someone who knows what they're doing with Snake or MK and you'll figure it out pretty fast. Lucas's game is all about patience and spacing. If you do not have that you will not last against good opponents regardless of how "boring" you might find defensive play.

Watch some pros. Do you really think the way you're playing would stand up to players like Overswarm, M2K, DSF, Vidjo etc? If you can't handle criticism, don't post videos.

Stop giving me things to troll about.

Just because you've played them doesn't mean you can hold your own against them.
