Nolimar: LOLimar or PROlimar?

At my latest tournament (Play N Trade V @ Aurora, IL), I tested out my Nolimar Challenge that a friend of mine and I have been messing with, with major success. I'm sure it's been done by someone else, but man, it was so amazing, I just figured I'd come and mention it. I also got a Nolimar MM in, which I lost (the Nolimar Challenge made me forget to save my kill tilts).

Also, I think a few people got videos of some of the matches, which I can't wait to see. It's amazing how impossible it is to do anything against 3 Nolimars and their nair combos. We were seriously pillaring a Snake for about a minute straight of nothing but jump nair double jump nairs.

So yeah, anyone but me actually enjoy playing as Nolimar (without Pikmin) than with Olimar?

Next tournament you go to, try to host a Nolimar Challenge. It's pretty much the same rules as the old Bowser Challenge.

Team Attack OFF.
The team of Nolimars must be composed of human players.
The player taking this challenge can use any character he or she wishes to use.
All items off.
All Nolimars must use a different smash attack as a taunt after a kill (optional, but funny anyway).
3 stocks, no more no less.
No time limit.

You'd be surprised how impossible it is to beat a team of 3 Nolimars, with exception to Lucario (you may want to consider banning him, because he's literally impossible for a Nolimar to beat)

I call it either, but most people call it Solimar in the MW, so I stick with that. I tend to see Nolimar to define an Olimar who plans to use Pikmin, but just has none on him, generally for recovery purposes.

As much as michigan would love to think they're everyone in the midwest... they're not. Sorry guys.

I always assumed it was Solimar, in the same way that Sopo is Popo alone.

Oh well. I always liked how Nolimar sounded better personally.

I've always heard SoPo as well. Nolimar is the way to go though. I should start infraction people for saying Solimar. Not really..haha.

Get back on topic though. Stop talking about Ice Climbers. > : (

Sadly I don't have access to the AdminCP so I can't change filters.. Ninja edits wouldn't be as effective as infractions either.

I'm not actually going to infract people for it though. Haha.

I've been fixing my habit back to Nolimar thanks to this topic.

Too bad Nolimar isn't as good on B+. They need to beef his ftilt or dtilt badly.

It's not ****ing Solimar. I don't care where your from, because the people who you say say "solimar" are not members of the Olimar boards, so why the hell would they know how to say it? They don't. It's nolimar. (and it sucks)
