[Albatross] 2:45 pm: Its been like that for about 2 months
[Albatross] 2:45 pm: and its slowly getting worse

[Albatross] 2:45 pm: and Venetian Snares, but I can't make that kind of music, I've tried really, really hard

[German Shake] 2:46 pm: look, have you ever TRIED improvising? Trust me, 35 $ in any cheap keyboard is a great investion!

[Albatross] 2:46 pm: throw effects on it
[Albatross] 2:46 pm: see if anything comes out
[Albatross] 2:47 pm: And my only guess might be that either
[Albatross] 2:47 pm: 1. I started to work for the scholarship, I saw music as a job or chore
[Albatross] 2:47 pm: 2. when my mental withdraw problem I had was cured by Dee, my music went with it
[Albatross] 2:48 pm: 3. when I released the demo to you guys, I felt complete, accomplished, finished
[German Shake] 2:48 pm: hmmm
[German Shake] 2:49 pm: mightn't that result in a kind of vicious cycle? Now you can't make music anymore, you'll have a mental withdraw problem again (especially since Dee is hundres of miles away) and you can make great music again... I'm not suggesting this would be positive XD jus' saying
[Albatross] 2:49 pm: shake, my mental withdraw was caused by the death of my mother
[Albatross] 2:50 pm: For years, I could never say anything abuot what I thought or wanted, I could only talk about music, video games, films, etc.
[Albatross] 2:50 pm: I had 3 thereapy people
[Albatross] 2:50 pm: none of them worked
[Albatross] 2:50 pm: Then I was reserved with Dee one day, and she started crying, and right then it all fadded away
[Albatross] 2:50 pm: and I was able to tell her what I thought, what I felt, and what I wanted

Because I always liked your music, even though our tastes differ so much
[Albatross] 2:52 pm: I just want something to look forward to other than game design college next fall
[German Shake] 2:52 pm: Isn't that yet awesome enough?! XD

[Albatross] 2:53 pm: And I'm getting worried about Dee
[Albatross] 2:53 pm: because she was depresed today, she's mentally depenedent on me because of what happened
[German Shake] 2:54 pm: Wait, what are you doing at the moment Logan? The music scholarship`?

[Albatross] 2:55 pm: No, I had to move so I lost that
[Albatross] 2:55 pm: I would have had no way of supporting myself had I stayed in Florida while my family moved
[German Shake] 2:55 pm: Oh, I thought you moved so you could attend the scholarship :/
[Albatross] 2:55 pm: Yeah Shake, so my playing is gone too
[Albatross] 2:55 pm: I was completely invested in the tuba

I don't know what to do anymore.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I really hope you end up finding a way to work it all out and get past this.

This is horrible...
The "I don't know what to do anymore" makes me feel speechless in how I can't figure out even a small solution, but yet, it makes me feel curious. I was slightly touched by this. And for once...I feel bad for you Crashic.

the only small solution i can really think of to do, is to try and invest time into another hobby / profession that you're really good at rather than music. you may have spent your last nine years i think you said on making music, but it's possibly not your meaning for life. as easy as im saying this, i know it's no where near as easy for you to just move on.

i feel sad for you for your current position i hope you find a way out of where you are at the moment.

it's always a good idea to get a stable, non art career going, even if it's small, before pursuing the arts, because your income is dependent on your success and creativity. A month of no good ideas=a month of very little income.
