Yeah, but you would always here "Hasn't had a major appearances on Nintendo consoles" as an argument. Now with that out of the way, it seems now it's just popular 3rd party characters as options.Well to be fair, Cloud has TECHNICALLY been on Nintendo Consoles.
Kingdom Hearts, the final fantasy musical game, Explorers...
It was dead to me the moment I saw the final release to SSB4.Smash Bros. is dead to me.
Consideirng the leak stated that he was supposed to be the next character announced, it's dead for good. No rationalisation. If anyone's still saying RogersBase is alive at this point, they're in denial and just don't want to admit they were wrong or have been had. I think this was a big blow to Shovel Knight, too.
Smash Bros. is no more, there is only Cool Japanese Anime Dudes Bros.Smash Bros. is dead to me.
LOLSmash Bros. is no more, there is only Cool Japanese Anime Dudes Bros.

I only needed one more third-party addition in the game just to make sure. TBHAlso, can we please now stop acting like iconic status doesn't matter for third-party characters? Once or twice is a coincidence, but all 5 of the third-party characters getting in with significance and recognizability among a wider gaming audience being a coincidence? Not even remotely!
