Roy is currently in the top 5, but we won't include him in the top 10 we are doing.

There's 2 or 3 characters in the top 10 that I have not seen mentioned yet.

going tbh and really it might sound weird but paper mario.

I rarely don;t see him top 10 tbh, the last jp poll did listed top 10 and knowing how these works, it usually doesn't change much for him....from what I saw aafaik.

I think the thing is? Why go out of your way to add the wrestler version of Pikachu in a game that has access to a wrestling Pokemon already?

I'm "fine" per say, but unlike Smash where it's series being weighed against each other, when it's just Pokemon being weighed against each other and we get TWO Pikachu's, I can see why some people are salty. Honestly the Roster Number is a bit to small to start pulling that. Especially when it comes to Lucha Libre Hawlucha should have been picked first.

Yes, resources, easier to make, etc; and I'm sure once people see Lucha Pikachu they'll warm up to it more and also get the "Hawlucha deconfirmed" mindset out of their heads, but it still doesn't sit well with me that they began doing this so early.

I don't think there's a complete overlap between both characters. I'm sure that Hawlucha has moves Pikachu Libre can't do and vice versa. Both characters can be worked as different concepts.

And with Hawlucha in the game, we would basically have the Pokemon counterparts for King and Armour King (especially considering that Pikachu's intro animation is basically Armour King's)

If that happens, that would be freaking brilliant imo.

I REALLY want to main Gengar and Weavile

I'll probably end up maining Gengar or Weavile but honestly I suffer from the same problem I have with Smash in that I like the majority of the characters equally rather than having favourites so choosing a main is gonna be hard lol.

Gengar has always been one of my favourite pokemon and I feel as though he might play a little similar to my elsword main (at a stretch lol) so idk we'll have to see when I get my hands on the game.
