Wario's movement is largely based on Wario World (with some WarioWare thrown in) for the Gamecube.

Sakurai doesn't pull 1 to 1 from the games, but I think there has to be more. Otherwise I think we would've seen them already (they are popular enough) and Sakurai wouldn't have been so harsh towards Waluigi saying 'some fighters simply can't make it into the battle'.

Just saying though while waluigi has support on the west.Daisy has support in the East.So they are literally in the exact same boat and daisy could easily have a unique moveset i mean they made duck hunt a character they can make anyone a character.Also daisy has the advantage seeing as she's you know not an assist trophy

In terms of DLC? Maybe, I posted an argument a while back on why Waluigi is somewhat exceptional as an AT compared to, say, Ridley. But Waluigi actually has a moving character model and animations in a Smash environment, whereas Daisy doesn't.

As for movesets, Daisy would inevitably be stuck with a moveset that's similar to what Waluigi would get. Movesets are often pieced together, and since Waluigi and Daisy are best defined by them being the spinoff crew, either one would have a lot of moves relating to sports.

However, I think Waluigi would be more likely as a pick. His frame/look is far more distinct and unique and would accommodate a sports-based moveset. His model implies traits like speed and mobility, things that Daisy stuck in a dress would probably lack. Any moves he'd share with the Mario Bros. (example: Nair) would suit his athletic build/moveset too.
