I told him to contact me on Twitter or SmashBoards with proof that he's legit if he's the OP. We'll see what happens.

He didn't use tripcodes so it could be someone else.

But at least temporarily you got to enjoy ice cream.

If they are out of the running, then I'm sure Sakurai will throw a different character our way that I didn't know I wanted. It's not unlike him, after all. This doesn't convince me that the costumes mean anything, though. For all we know, all of the Mii costumes (or non-fighter content overall) were decided pre-ballot in a proposal document made right after completion of the full game. They aren't fighters.

Chrom is almost definitely out of the running, but that's for many other reasons.

I kind of think he sees Mii Fighters as throwing a bone to the fans. "Hey we can't make this fighter right now, but you can still kind of play as them! Enjoy!"

First off, Congratulations @ PushDustIn for becoming a mod! You deserve it. And Congratulations to @Frostwraith too.

Regarding Great Bay: Hope it's real. Was one of my favorite stages from Melee so I would be happy if it returns. young link too please?

Regarding Dr. Mario: Really hope it's real! Looks like an awesome stage.
Regarding King K. Rool costume: I will be really pissed if this is all K. Rool gets. I'm not even that big of a K. Rool fan but after all the effort his fanbase went to try to get him in to Smash this seems like a big '**** you' to them. Character costumes are literally the worst imo.

If they are finishing up content that was planned for the base game, as the Dr. Mario stage would seem to suggest, and as I already suspect was the case with Lucas, we may see Wolf and Chorus Kids (or RH rep), as our next characters.

Provided the Dr. Mario stage is real, of course.

Here's what I'm thinking for this whole situation. We have two slots left for new characters. I believe those two slots will probably be for mostly pre-ballot characters that were chosen be Sakurai. Then maybe after the ballot is done, I estimate we might get at least 2 more characters from the ballot. I also believe Sakurai maybe made the King K. Rool costume to give fans a bone for a little while since they probably kan't develop it right now. This
might be temporary, or I'm totally wrong and King K. Rool is left being a costume.

Looking at this again..

Where in the game would the second image come from? The exact image is used as the stage icon and on My Music, but how would this picture be taken otherwise? AFAIK, you can't zoom into a full screen view of the stage previews.

2. K. Rool still has a chance (but is lowered).
