Soulcalibur V wasn't a bad game gameplay-wise. It was certainly a lot better gameplay-wise than Soulcalibur IV. Also, it's Character Creation had some much better features than IV's CaS. But it really doesn't help that Soulcalibur V was massively screwed over by Namco Bandai making the developers have the game Released Earlier. Since they didn't want Soulcalibur V competing with SF X Tekken, for some reason rather than delaying the game to possibly make the game better, they made the developers release the game much earlier than planned, causing the developers to have to rush the game out.
And what does Namco do after the game is out and doing sub-par because of what they made the developers do? Fire the developers and make the new director a guy with a hard-on for the Alexandria girls...

To the point where they made Sophitia's death non-canon and rather than having her do a heroic sacrifice for her daughter, she just magically disappears into another dimension after taking a Soul Edge shard out of her heart that the shard practically melded with to save her daughter.

Remake and RE 4 are by far the best games in the series (IMO.) I have soft spot in my heart for the cheesiness that is Code Veronica, though.

I don't get the hate for supers, you can use strong yet flashy attacks to finish a foe off. Probably idiots who can't pull them off or can't dodge them

I think it's more due to the "spirit" of tekken. I mean lots of games have block buttons, but if you added a block button to a game like street fighter it wouldnt feel like street fighter anymore.

I cant say a super meter is bad, since my tekken experience is limited to Tekken 3 and a minimal ammount of 6 and TTT2, but I believe making making a special 10-hit combo (a tradition in tekken) essentially do the same thing (sort of like a program advance) or making it a finishing move or just making it do less damage than an optimized combo would be better than "I got a stray hit so eat a 50% auto combo".

Not trying to defend this leak (It's definitely fake), but that's not really proof of anything.

Don't forget, Xander Mobus couldn't answer when asked about the Omni Rayman leak. An "I dunno what that is" or "No comment" answer is to be expected.

It's easier to debunk based on the fact it looks too polygonal for a modern character model and the fact that the scales seemed to lack any detail.

I'm not gonna say "I dislike Etika", because I don't know the guy. I dislike the character he portrays (and yes, his Youtube persona is a character. No, I don't believe the guy really reacts like that to gaming announcements. He is the Smash community's PewDiePie), and I hate that he rushes to make videos reporting news without doing an ounce of research beforehand.

Saying "I don't do news videos!" doesn't excuse anything. If he's making a video announcing some sort of rumor, it's a news video. Plain and simple. If he can't take the time to check a couple facts and read more than just three posts of some GameFAQs or Reddit topic, then he shouldn't be making videos reporting crap like this in the first place. Leave it to GameXplain. As stupid as they tend to be at times, they at least put work into what they do.

I mean, Etika reported the Ridley shadow theories in August. Those theories first popped up in April. Everyone in the community knew about them already, and he acted like it was this shocking new discovery and a bombshell revelation he was making.

I have no opinion on Etika himself. I just find his comedy skits ("Reaction Videos" as he calls them) to be painfully unfunny and stale at this point, and his rumor videos are thrown together as quickly as possible with no research done whatsoever, which usually ends up leading to untrue information getting thrown around.

This is my own version of a "pitch" for Midna and Wolf Link.
There's some info here, but the only thing I wanted you guys to see was the moveset idea. I'm proud of it, I think it makes this duo extremely unique and it represents the element of teamwork, which I wanted to implement when I set out to make a moveset for them.
I mostly made this FOR the moveset, but added some propaganda cause why not?

We all see it. But when you take the entire context of the image into account, that's the angle of Rool's render. It would be seriously convenient for the single truly poor edit in an original render to occur at the exact area where you would expect his arm/chest to look weird due to the angle/lighting/quality of the shot.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it is the only piece of actual evidence disproving it.

Everything else isn't really concrete. "The model looks sorta crappy and polygonal" and "Direct leaks are always fake!", while valid points, aren't actual evidence.

Remember, people wouldn't let Tower of Smash die until the 50 Facts Direct completely wrecked it, even though there was a mountain of evidence pointing against it and only one or two things that corroborated it (one of the right guesses being Onett, an easily-to-guess past stage).

Taunting just won me a match on For Glory. I was using Sonic and the opponent using Lucina, they would stay back and camp near the ledge in hopes they broke my shield or countered my Spin Dash. Then at one point, since the match was getting to a stalemate I kept taunting "CMON STEP IT UP!", and when that occurred at one point, they tried hitting me while I was near the edge and they were off stage, but they ended up botching it trying to hit me and fell off and died and I won.

Taunting does make you win!

Eh, I think it's genuinely a good fake. Not quite on the level of Rayman or the N64 Classic Mode one from last month, but it's one of the few actually decent image leaks.

Don't forget all the truly awful ones that have surfaced, like that hideous gremlin-looking Young Link trophy, the CSS with Dixie Kong's mouth scribbled on in MS Paint, the Wolf and Impa one where Impa looked like a SNES sprite and the math on VS Stats were wrong, and the Plasticsoldier leak that actually got a lot of attention despite being completely and utterly terrible in every regard.
