Apparently there is a "Scandal" involved with AVGN when he endorsed a kickstarter project.

But after looking into it, I hardly see what the big deal is.

He endorsed a kickstarter of Cheetahmen 2 Remastered and the problem SEEMS to be people didn't like the fact the people making the game were making a profit off of selling it. And that Cheetahmen 2 is a horrible game.

I don't get it. It's not a legal problem, just that people don't like someone making a profit off a horrible game? If people want to buy a horrible game let them. Who cares.

It's not an issue of it being illegally made or something. Or not fulfilling the promises. Those would be a scandal. It's just that it's a bad game

I would have gotten it. Cheetahmen 2 with the Apeman glitch fixed and additional stuff coming with it like a manual? I enjoy bad games.

Looking into it it's just drama. Just that he supported what IS a bad game.

The guy that released it has legal ownership over the Cheetahmen IP. And he released what he stated. It's not one of those kickstarters he ran away with the money. If he has legal ownership he can make a profit off his IP. He charged $60. That's not unreasonable for one of these newly made games. James said himself the blue NES champion cart he got cost him $60 and it didn't come with anything other than the cart.

That being said, as I said before, Breath of the Wild's gameplay with all of it's scavenging and whatnot is pretty much like the Battle Royale games' scavenging for weapons and etc. Not to mention Kirby Air Ride's City Trial was basically a Battle Royale-like "Prepare for the Event" Mode where you try to power up your character for the main event and you can sabotage the other players. The same could be said if they bring back Smash Run for Smash Switch and allowed you to interact and/or sabotage the other players.

Anyway, the Karma and saltiness will be real if a popular series that people don't want to go the Battle Royale route gets a Battle Royale-like game. And it'd be worth it.

They got major issues and often have a cruel and self centered sense of value. Combine that with an extreme lack of social awareness and the idea that they are owed something makes them unbearable on a good day.

And like, I get the main idea. Some people are just born ugly and unsociable. Them's the breaks. It's not fair, but we can't do much about it. But that doesn't mean their lives need to be awful or their character should be ****. That's the incels' main problem. They don't realize that.
