He's a huge advocate for bringing attention to poor media practices dealing with misrepresenting video games as causes of violence, routinely calls out **** that youtubers like Logan Paul and that one lady who lied about donating to Locks of Love do that's disgustingly unethical, and tries to make people's days better because him reaching out to a new kid back in high school prevented the new kid from committing suicide. That and his on-camera relationship with his wife seems legitimately good.

His content is hit or miss with a whole lot of misses among them, but I think he's a good person, even if he made a mistake.

Well, if Shounen Jump is getting in the way, he might do a thing at the end of the series where he has them hock up, and yes I totally see Bakugou and Kirishima getting together. Although since MHA is clearly taking inspiration from USA comics, so its possible that Horikoshi could convince Jump to actually have them pair up, since having LGBT in the next generation of heroes pops up all the time in Marvel and DC Super Hero comics, he could say something like, this'll make them sell better in the USA.

I doubt he could convince them with that tbh.
But I think there's a chance we could get a confirmation by the end of the series. These days you see a lot more LGBT characters outside of media that aren't made just to pander to straight men or women.
Even Nintendo has been progressively more open with it and it shows it's going somewhere, even if slowly.

See, I'd believe that if he went "Come on guys this was supposed to be serious", didn't go "LOL HELICOPTER", said "Sorry you felt that way" at the very least when called out instead of "Drop this witch hunt". What's the worst that could happen to him for doing that? He loses nothing for doing any of those and the fact that he did it will mean nothing to him either other than perhaps a wet tissue because someone on the internet said he did a bad thing and how that's the same as giving him a death threat
