My TV habits fell off pretty sharply with a (voluntary) lack of access to cable and a Faraday cage house.

But far as I know we're kind of in a lull of weird game shows like that right now. Just a bunch of trivia-style shows - sometimes competitive, sometimes not - and the usual social dynamics reality fare.

Won't lie, if y'all got more interesting stuff I'm a little jealous.

Britain used to do gameshows like Family Feud (Family Fortunes over here), Wheel of Fortune, The Price is Right, Hollywood Squares (Celebrity Squares over here) and Blankety Blank; but all they all went away in the mid 90s. They occasionally come back in the form of Celebrity Specials.

We now mostly have panel shows rather than game shows (and Quiz Shows are still pretty common). There are weird ones like Celebrity Juice and smart ones like QI.

QI is a show where a panel of Celebrities are asked "Common Knowledge" questions, knowing they are more than likely going to get the question wrong. The host (formerly Stephen Fry and now Sandi Totsvig) then explain what the actual answer is. I strongly recommend QI to people who have access to it, it's both informative and hilarious.

Celebrity Juice... defies description.

I’m telling you, i’m not lying. I was suspicious of it, so considering I have all three consoles I figured I would check.

It’s a page for Women’s History Month, so there’s no need to use Pokémon unless they used Leaf. These are more obviously female (not up to discretion or debate) characters, so it totally makes sense.

We’ll have to keep an eye out on the future to see if bigger characters show up.
