I love Octopath. Its easily the best RPG of 2018 for me. I highly recommend it.

I’ve rarely had lag in doubles for some odd reason (unless it’s through quick play)...only curse I get is double Richter (or being forced to play as him due to the random selection)

Adorable, but cluttered.

All of the characters have roughly equal visual focus. Would be better either picking one or giving one more prominence (by increasing its size and decreasing the others'). Just my opinion.

It's good just don't expect one grandiose story or anything.

They're well written but self contained to each character.

KH2's gummi ship missions are better than most on rail shooter games before or after it. Crazy.

This whole game is one big upgrade from the first game in general. Except for maybe the world design.

How come so many people are ragequitting against me today? Do people not like Zelda or something? Or maybe Dark Samus mains just don't like having all their full-power charge shots turned back on them. :p

I managed to get Zelda into Elite Smash while I was at it, too, so I guess that's cool. I'm pretty sure that's just a statement of how inadequate the GSP system is, though, rather than meaning I'm actually good with Zelda, because there's no way my Zelda is anywhere near Elite Smash level yet.

Yeah. Each character has their own GSP rating, so you have to get each one above the requirement for Elite Smash individually.

It's not my internet considering this game ****ing choked on a 1v1 match and gave me 2 seconds of input lag despite the connection having been smooth for 5 matches with the same opponent. This netcode just sucks, I got a more stable experience with One's Justice.

It makes sense when you consider that they use GSP in matchmaking, and that Elite Smash's matchmaking is separate from players outside it. So it makes it so that you get matched based on your skill with the character you're playing with, rather than your strongest one; you might be really good with one character, but that doesn't mean you're going to be as strong with others. So the idea is that someone who already got into Elite Smash with their mains, can pick up some other random character without getting matched against strong players playing their mains and getting thumped, and without worrying about losing their rank just because they played a character they're less skilled with.

at least that's how it's supposed to work, it may differ somewhat in practice
