Still have a little less than 10 hours to go until 2019 for me. I know it's going to suck somehow, but at least something good should come out of it.

I did manage to beat Classic on 9.9 with Mega Man, it only took 2 tries at that. I ALMOST did it with Ken and Wolf as well.

Did terribly with Richter though, even though I did alright with Simon.

The cool thing is that you have both Waver and Merlin. Once you get both of them up in levels and skills, going through stuff and whatnot should be a walk in the park(until the much later stuff that tends to try and mess with Merlin's buffs and invincibility). Heck, you're able to do the famous Double Merlin + Waver combo with a Buster NP Servant that can often 1-turn kill most Boss battles.
And even then, you can also do the team setup of Merlin + Waver + Support Jeanne Alter. Lady Luck is on your side.

Anyways, yeah, I redownloaded FGO, I want to at least finish the main story if nothing else and since I have plenty of time now, I thought it was a good idea. I'm still on Camelot though so that'll take a while.

Welcome to the Merlin club too! I'm still working out on maxing out my Merlin's skills, but I got a long way to go with it. He needs A LOT of Forbidden Pages, Eternal Gears, and Hearts of the Foreign God to make it possible, but he is my main goal for becoming my next 10/10/10 servant after Mash.

Oh yeah, on a different note regarding Fate/GO, the next guaranteed gacha banner should be out by tomorrow for New Year's. This one will allow you to choose your 5-star servant based on the class (with the exception of Assassin and Ruler, as that is combined into one, but it's only either Jack or Jeanne for that one). If you have the money and want another 5-star, it's something worth checking out!

Merlin is gonna be stuck with Lv1 skills for a while because I'm out of mats lol. Doesn't help I still have Usmmer Mordred and Heracles kind of sitting on the back waiting to get leveled up too.

I'd have to use a full 10x summon for the guaranteed 5*, right? Think I'll pass, don't like spending money on gacha games anyways.

Case Files is getting a TV anime series, and Yuki Kajira, the composer for Fate/Zero, will be doing the music.
Also, Tamamo, Tamamo Cat, Fionn and Kiyohime are getting Strengthens later.

Tamamo basically gets a buff that makes her even more useful for her Arts Teams and Fionn becomes even less worthless now, as his Trouble with Women skill becomes actually usable with the harsh cooldown gone. Kiyohime's buff actually increases the Burn damage that enemies get when she gives burn to them rather than inflict Burn status. And Tamamo Cat gets a bit of survivability.

Also, another one of Tamamo's email buddies is now a Servant, being Benienma.

And the Riyo Gag Manga has an anime adaption.

It's definitely much cheaper compared to the FEH Bundles. Those bundles are $75. Getting the Quartz for a Paid Gacha is only $30 if you buy the 25 Quartz, then the 4 Quartz, then the 1 Quartz. Doing that makes it only $30 while also giving you a bonus 17 Free Quartz.

It's actually Kagami Mochi. Remember New Years Takumi? His weapon is Kagami Mochi. It's basically a rice cake put on top of a bigger rice cake with an orange on top of them.

I'd say that this year was pretty good for me. There were some bad things but I'd say the good parts outweighed the bad parts for me.

When it comes to games that I played, I played a lot of games that I enjoyed this year, although not quite as much as the previous year. Just like last year though, I didn't really play a whole lot of games that actually released this year.
In particular, I finished up The World Ends With You, Fire Emblem: Awakening, and Final Fantasy VII, with those three being games that I had started during the previous year but hadn't finished, and I managed to play Okami HD, Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Metroid: Samus Returns, Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy IX, Super Castlevania IV, Shadow of the Collossus, and the Phoenix Wright Trilogy, and I'm really glad to have played all of those. Well, and Smash Ultimate, of course.

I do look forward to 2019 and whatever may happen for me. As far as games that I'm looking forward to are concerned, I'm really looking forward to Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Luigi's Mansion 3, the new Pokemon game, and Kingdom Hearts III. I'm also quite looking forward to Metroid Prime 4 as well, but that doesn't have a release window yet. There are probably more than that, but those are the one's that I can think of.
