As you've probably noticed, I don't use this website much anymore. Smash Speculation was the main reason I joined, but after this speculation season I don't feel I'm up to it anymore. I'm also going on hiatus from social media in general to focus on school, so this is just going to be another website I'll try my hardest to avoid.
This thread has been pretty much my only reason for staying here so far. I've made some great friends here, and I will always have fond memories from my time here. However, I no longer feel an urge to come back here, especially when Twitter exists.
What I'm saying is that tomorrow, I will leave this website, probably permanently.
I don't plan on changing my mind. This website doesn't do anything that Twitter, Discord, or even Reddit can't do better for me. All of them feel like much better places to talk about my interests. I will always miss my Smashboards friends, but most of them also use at least 2 of these websites, so what's the point of staying here just for the few that don't?
I might come back in a much later date. Maybe if there's a new Smash game, I'll feel up to speculating again... but until then, it's a bye from me.
I have a twitter that I've advertised on several occasions (my tag is @ur_boi_lampy), a Discord (my tag is @Lampy#9163), and a Reddit that I don't use quite as often (my tag is u/LampytehGr8) so if any of you wants to keep in touch, though I won't be active on any of these for the next 6 months due to school.

Sorry for the wall of text, sorry for being overly dramatic, and I'm ESPECIALLY sorry if none of this makes sense because I'm tired af.

I've been playing Puyo Puyo Tetris since the 25th.

Found out that I'm good at Puyo Puyo (enough to get three stars consistently in the Story Mode) , great at Tetris (not TGM level, but I already knew that).

But I'm terrible at Puyo/Tetris Fusion.

Like, the worst. :laugh:

Does that little robot with 2B have a name? The one that works with her in Soul Calibur. Cause I got a decent special moveset for 2B involving it.

On the topic of the recent Aggretsuko special...

I do think that Retusko could change her mind and end up with Haida anyway, but now that I think about it...I also think that a relationship between Haida and Fenneko is equally possible and viable. Hints at such a possibility were seen throughout the episode (Haida helping Fenneko at the vending machine, Fenneko being a surprisingly supportive person when Haida is being dramatic, etc). Which pair do you all prefer: Retsuko x Haida, or Fenneko x Haida?

You know, after seeing videos & stuff about Samus & Dark Samus, while I think that having some buff here and there would be nice and make them feel complete, right now, I'm overall quit happy with what they have, and I hope competitf players will be able to unlock their full potential soo enough.

I beat Classic on 9.9 in Smash Ultimate - Ganondorf made it MUCH easier than I expected. (the only time I died was against Master/Crazy Hand, and once I got that far, I could use Smash Tickets to keep the difficulty the same)

Now I've only got a handful of challenges left - beat a level 9 CPU by three points in a time match, and a bunch of online ones.

Also, I played a few multiplayer matches with my brother, and I didn't realize how broken Snake's final smash was in a 1 v 1 setting. I guess it's something I never really thought about - most characters seem to have final smashes that target the area directly in front of them (ex. Fox's) or in a straight line ahead of them (ex. Mario's), but Snake's can hit you anywhere, and it hits multiple times (making it very easy to send someone off-stage). I feel like it's going to be patched sooner or later to decrease how long the cursor stays up. After a while, I felt like it would be fairer if I didn't use Snake's final smash, because it seemed insanely difficult to avoid.

Just got back from watched Ralph Breaks the Internet. I was okay. I liked the one much better. Felt like it was ignoring most of what made me like the first one.
I had to cringe at the Didney princess scene which felt unneeded, including that song. Plus I wasn't expecting a Stan Lee cameo.

And the whole movie I was like "Disney shown off that Pancake/Milkshake scene in the trailers as one of their biggest selling points for the movie, where the heck it is it? How they got to that scene was actually pretty clever.
So... not bad, could be better.

Now to get around to watching that new Spoder-Mon movie.

i haven’t seen the movie yet, but considering one of the trailers had a Marvel section, a Stan Lee cameo wasn’t a surprise...though it is something I’ll definitely like to see

get on with that Spider-Verse though, then listen to the soundtrack

So here’s my idea for atleast the specials for 2B. I imagine if you played Neir: Autamata you’d probably think it sucks but whatever.

B: Pod 042 shows up and shoots a bunch of bullets in front of 2B
Side B: Pod 042 shows up a certain distance infront of 2B and if he tags an enemy he pulls them towards 2B.
Up B: 2B grabs Pod 042 and it lifts her up skywards
Down B: Pod 042 shows up and shoots a beam forward, it can be charged to do more damage and go farther.

Final Smash is pretty much 2B’s super move from SC6.
Yeah it’s heavily based off her SC6 appearance so uhh... yeah.

I'm in a quandary.

I got Spyro Reignited and Injustice 2 today (Birthday gifts).

The problem is, I don't know whether to continue with Soulcalibur VI, or give Spyro a go.
