I love how we both switched to Richter immediatelly considering the exact same thing happened last night when I played with Alucard.

Honestly, so far it doesn't feel so different from being a teenager. I'm legally allowed to buy Alcohol, but I don't think I'll do that.

I wanted more practice with Richter so I decided to wheel him out for a bit. It didn't end well for me. Guess I need more practice still. :p

I felt a few moments of lag here and there but overall I thought it was pretty good. I guess that ethernet adapter I picked up is working out pretty well.

I'm going to ask some advice from you fine folks here: what are some of your experiences with unlocking characters? For now, at least, I'm currently thinking about going through WoL to unlock most of them. It helps that I'm eager to play that mode regardless anyway.

Yeah, I think defense overall is what you should focus, both recovering and defense in neutral. I saw some patterns when attacking so I used them to get you offstage and so on. Try looking at the opponent instead of your own character, that's what I do and that way I can focus on what they are doing to approach and try to challenge that. I probably had more to say, but I forgot the more specific stuff since we fought, should have written it down to give a better advice... If you ever want to go more rounds just tag me.

My final unlock was Bowser Jr., though Mewtwo and Palutena weren't too far behind.
I'll eventually clear all Classic Modes and WoL but I'll just focus on playing online for now and leave those modes for when I don't have internet access.

I suppose the main thing I noticed was that you fell into a lot of patterns and that made it easier for me to land my own attacks on you. You could probably make more use of stuff like tilts more often, and try to mix things up a bit more. Don't think I can say much more in-depth without recording replays and stuff.
