honestly Galeem’s design is so much better than Dharkon’s. Dharkon just looks... wrong, and I can’t say why.

I've got some piping hot Smash Bros headcanon if anyone's interested:

I think Galeem and Master Core might be part of the same species. . .genus. . .ish. Now hear me out. I know they're wildly different in appearance, but

Both essentially boil down to a core with stuff orbiting it, which when the entity is injured can be knocked out and incapacitated. And for the more obvious reason why I spoilered this, Dharkon. Obvious counterpart to Galeem, completely different core and orbiting parts. So considering how much those two can shift themselves and the range of their differences, I think Master Core being a third one of. . .whatever they are isn't too weird a takeaway.

Of course, that still begs the question "What IS Master Core," which. . .honestly hasn't changed in information since Smash 4.

. . .Almost.

For like, two seconds in the literal final cutscene, all of the Master and Crazy Hands that Galeem and Dharkon were controlling dissolve into what looks like Master Core dust.

So with that in mind, I actually think I'm good sticking with the same assessment I made back during Smash 4: Master Core and Master Hand are one and the same.

It's simply that Master Hand is Master Core in a sort of power limiter that gives him focus and restraint. That Master Core is more primordial and instinct driven, and Master Hand doesn't like feeling as though he isn't even in control of himself like that. Master Hand loves the world he's created, far moreso than he could ever love that power. But Galeem? Galeem embraces his own primordial instincts, wildly so to the point of imbalance. So likely prior to the events of Ultimate there was a scenario where Galeem staged a coup on Master Hand, and since the latter holds himself back considerably on purpose it went off without a hitch and allowed Galeem to move on to reshaping the world as HE saw fit. . .as a *cough* World of Light.

okay but how the **** did master hand and crazy hand get under their control anyway

like come on why do they gotta keep getting bullied sakurai, first tabuu now galeem
The void between dimensions where this kind of unassigned stuff probably comes from is like the lovechild of Detroit and Gary, Indiana, I guess.

It's where Arceus AKA the creator god of the Pokemon universe came from too and where it's offspring of reality altering godhood go to have hissy fits, it's just that when a preteen can casually fight you with his normal animal pets and stuff you into a small thrown object you're obviously gonna be the biggest jobber in the void.

The biggest jobber in the void being able to create universes at will kinda says some things, tho

I might feel completely dead inside for the entirety of tomorrow, but I do sincerely hope everyone enjoys their day. I'm a bit uncertain on what I'm doing with myself as of right now.

Anyway, never, ever, mess with Leffen without preparation.

Worldnof Lightbis addicting, I dunno what you guys are talking about.
Currently have 0 Spirits that can unlock all rhose paths in the western section so I'm in god knows where fighting mother****ing Viridi and honestly, this just makes me hate her even more. Rayman was also a ***** to fight against.
Main Primary Spirits I'm using are Hydreigon(bless those three slots), Morag(why do you suck so much) and Specter Knight(can my favorites just be, like, good?).
For Support, I got Nino and Mimikyu most of the time but I found some rela good ones like that Pikmin beetle that reduces landing lag.

Ah **** I just realized I haven't created any Miis, just one for each to say I have them then
>There's a Maid Uniform for the Miis
>Compatible with all classes
**** I MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE TO PLAY THEM NOW

You hate Viridi now. But when you get her, you'll love her when you find that she gives a big power boost(especially with Legend Primaries) and proves very useful against those Metal Spirit fights, especially the Dr. Wily one with those 8 Metal Mega Mans.

Salem is probably forever dead
His rants have been bordering on career suicide, I imagine Liquid are not happy with him. They're a pretty big team as it is too, so they don't really lose anything by cutting their losses with him. It's sad.

Is there any methodology for farming coins in Ultimate?
Go to Smash -> set up a new ruleset. The time can be anything, but you'd gain a lot if it was 10 minutes or even 20. No stocks. Since the game actually gives you gold based on controller input, you can simply spam crouching all the time until the match ends. I've done this and it works. It's not optimal but it's a solution nonetheless. If you do it with the two Joy-Con as individual controllers I think you get double the amount of gold.

20 minutes of relentless t-bagging? Well, what am I waiting for?

I unlocked Ganondorf, my man is finally back. Prolly gonna unlock Ridley and then start WoL. Which of the three paths is the best one to start at?
You've probably went with something else but I went the right route myself, the one with Villager. Apparently you don't have to backtrack as much if you go this route.

Ah, christmas morning, the best time of the year.

Dunno why this exists, but I'm glad it's somewhat relevant.

I really don't get why people complained so much about unlocks, you get them so fast and you can literally do anything and get a character.
Some thoughts so far:
-**** Ganon
-I'm trying to play this like Smash 4 too much and it's messing me up, I try to tech and get an airdodge and I'm still trying to attack out of airdodges. I can tell it's gonna take a while before I get used to it.
-I want my pro controller back, I haven't tried handheld mode but I believe that'll at least ne more comfortable to me than the Joycons.
-Zelda is easily my favorite out of the characters I have unlocked so far. The aesthetics+buffs she got actually made her SO much fun to play as. I just need to learn how to actuaply use the Phantom now.
-I still can't Robin and they removed Arcthunder combos so ugh, I think I might have to drop her completely
-Link looks so good and Bombs are fun to mess with
-Young Link is actually... fun? He's so quick but not as floaty as Tink.
-God, I'm gonna end up maining all the Zelda characters except Sheik at this point.
-Only played Inklings once but I can tell I'm never gonna seriously play as them. Only newcomer I've got so far tho.
-Samus feels the same in terms of how to play her but, like, usable.
-I've forgotten how to space with Marth
-Did they nerf Corrin's airspeed? They feel so clunky in the air now.
-Rathalos fight is sick yo
-I got Garchomp as my first Spirit and then went to Spirits Board once I found out about the FE event, grabbed Nino and Hydreigon as some of my first Spirits so I'll be set for whenever I start WoL.
-Every goddamn AT is so damn broken, they're honestly not fun at all.
-My Music will take ages for me to set up and I'm still with the default line up.
-Never again will I play with a goddamn sideways joycon unless I feel like torturing myself.
I don't know either but...
You have a media gave Smash Ultimate the only "mixed" review just because of many characters have to be unlocked...

Quote from Attack of the Fanboy William Schwartz's review:
While Nintendo does offer incredible options in Smash Bros. Ultimate, it reels in this fun by placing limitations on the player every step of the way. The worst offender is in the character unlock system that they’ve chosen to use. While 70+ characters sure sounds like a lot, it’s not what you’ll be staring at when you start up the game. Instead of giving players the ability to play with who they want, they’ve put the majority of the cast behind multiple types of unlocks and don’t really explain how to get them. The system in place uses a combination of game modes to introduce new characters to the player, and it could take 10’s of hours to unlock them all. If you were hoping to pick up Ultimate and do what you want, you won’t be able to. Instead you’ll likely be heading to online guides and forums to figure out just how long it’s going to take to unlock your favorite character.
10 hours? Seriously? Not to mention all Smash Bros games have NEVER explain how to unlock characters.
Something tells me he didn't check Youtube videos about how to unlock characters that takes around 3 hours, even faster after the 1.2.0 patch since they made the CPUs easier to beat.

Well to be fair, the 3 hour method relies on an exploit and even then, 3+ hours is extreme compared to every other fighting game or any roster-based game in general. I don't necessarily think it's cause enough for a mixed review, but it's a fair point.
