Deku's in Jump Force, now people can stop complaining. Although like everyone else, barring a couple examples he looks ****ing weird.

The roster is looking better than J-Stars at least. But JUMP Ultimate Stars is still the GOAT. I hope Arc Sys gets to do a crossover title one of these days. After what they did with DBFZ, how could I not want to see that?
I honestly thought he was one of the better looking characters so far, besides the eyes. Granted I'm fine with the art style for most of them anyways.

All the announcements recently make me wonder how many characters are even left to go. I doubt Naruto gets left at just two characters since they're on the cover, Jotaro or one of the other guys is all but a given, and there's a few other "shoo-ins" that have yet to be seen (Gintoki, Hiei)

I've got a few characters I'm hoping for but I honestly have no idea they'll make it, considering the roster is starting to look pretty complete.

From what I've tried so far, InkyPen is not bad. Think I'll look into Hellboy. Might try Sonic the Hedgehog too but they only have the first issue right now.

And I hope they'll eventually add Samurai Jack, Killer Instinct, and ARMS later on.

So.

I'm not sure what's up with SteamVR right now.

But whenever I try to open a menu in Vivecraft, it flashes in and out of "unresponsive."

I was able to get the same results pointed at the desktop - which, based on the way Vivecraft's menus display, I hypothesize has the same root cause. But I'm in no mood to further troubleshoot, meaning ultimately I not only don't get to do what I would currently like to do, but I also do not know why.

Gonna go beat the spirit board backwards and forwards to let off steam.

It's a shame that the touchscreen isn't used to its fullest.
I find it a little strange that Smash has 0 touchscreen functionality, when you'd think that the menus would be navigable via the touchscreen.

Granted, this is exactly how Smash Wii U worked, so whatever.

Fortnite is the only game whose menus can be fully navigated through the touchscreen. You can even use it during gameplay for inventory management and opening the map

TWEWY Final Remix used the touchscreen pretty dang well.

But apparently that's not a popular opinion.

In TWEWY you can only use the touchscreen for anything.

And to think the Mobile and Final Remix gave it easy to people by removing the Partner gameplay. In the original DS version, you weren't just controlling Neku with the Touchscreen, you were controlling Neku with the Touchscreen and your Partner with the D-Pad while they were on the Top Screen. And I played the original DS version to know how unique it was and how much you had to pay attention to both the bottom AND Top screen.

Man, looking at the Walking Dead telltale game, why did people like this again?
Because of the character connections, story, certain decisions that won’t lead to people judging you, and memes

One account(Pad) done with Babylonia......one more(Phone) to deal with....At least one account will get the Quartz.

Why are there so many Parts? The battles weren't necessarily hard, but gosh, there's 22 Chapters and most of them had like 4-6 Parts. Good lord, it was long and tedious....
I cheated on Quetzalcoatl, despite choosing the choice that gives her more HP and a Damage Buff. Basically, I went man-to-man using a Friend Support Heracles with Castle of Snow and he soloed her, even with the HP boost.

As for the Ushi fights, for the first fight that involved the 6 Ushis, I used Saber Alter and Santa Alter to one shot each wave. For the 2nd Solo one, Waver, Lancelot and a Support Jeanne Alter dealt with her and the clone....will have to figure out something for my other account with no Lancelot or Waver.

Besides my Wave Clearing Servants and Waver, Orion+Mash+Tamamo were my MvPs with Gorgon and Tiamat. Mash helped reduce the damage, Tamamo healed any damage and Orion was basically, "That's a nice NP you got there. Would be a shame if you couldn't use it.", which would sum up Gorgon. Not so much Tiamat due to instant NP Bar Skill. Thankfully the Blessing of Kur was there for damage reducing.

Orion was actually one of my main MVPs overall in the story, due to the abundance of High HP Saber Lahmus and for also being useful against Ishtar and Avenger Kingu. Saber Bride helped with the Lancer Lahmus and with Lancer Kingu. And of course, Shiki was useful for the Rider enemies and Santa Alter and Rider Kintoki were useful against the Caster enemies.
Anyway, while it's possible I may be able to reach the goal with the other one, I'm not putting too much hope into it. At the very least, one is done and I have 150 Quartz ready for that account when Merlin comes(who was pretty good in my playthough against Tiamat).
Yeah, the amount of parts jammed into each chapter was annoying, especially when trying to grind through the Singularity quickly. On the other hand, some of the parts were just dialogues with no battle, and considering how jammed-pack with story Babylonia is, I'm not that mad about it.

For the second Ushi fight for your other account, my advice for team composition is a strong attacker in the lead (probably your hardest hitting servant), someone who can give an additional Attack buff through a skill like Charisma (I chose David in my case since he can also give party-wide evasion), a friend's Waver for support, and a backup strong attacker in case your first strong attacker goes down. Use the Chaldean Battle Suit so that you can switch the right servant into battle in case the earthquake throws the backup strong attacker as one of the leading three.

I'm surprised to hear you used Orion for the Tiamat fight. I mainly use her in combination with Euryale and a friend's Tamamo for the male servant lock, but I haven't thought about using her for those major final bosses like Tiamat. Then again, I am yet to unlock her second paralogue where she gets the additional NP effect of lowering an enemy's NP gauge, so that may be way (she still needs a few more bond levels to reach that point.

And oh yes, Merlin was super clutch in the Tiamat and Gorgon fights. I already knew about the golden team of Jalter + Waver + Merlin, but I had my first taste of Jalter + Hans + Merlin during the first Gorgon and Tiamat fights and wow, it's just as good. Hans and Merlin make the perfect duo for stalling with how they can stack healing and buffs along with Merlin's insanely good NP generation to make both their NPs easy to spam, which in turn also gave Jalter plenty of really good attacking buffs. It sucked when Merlin couldn't be used for the second Tiamat fight because I was hoping to repeat the Hans +Merlin strategy again.

When it came to fighting the Saber Lahmus, I mainly used Robin Hood for that. Siegfried, Rama, and Mordred were my MVPs for the Lancer Lahmus, Lancer Kingu, and Ereshikigal. Summer Tamamo and Scathach came in clutch for Ishtar. I don't remember who I used with Avenger Kingu, but I think it might've just been Jalter+Hans+Friend Waver with Mash, Heracles and Cu Chulainn for backup (I used the same team for the Gorgon and Tiamat fights, though the first Gorgon and Tiamat fight used Story Merlin). Shiki and Summer Scathach came in clutch for the Rider enemies, and Drake and Rider Kintoki were my go-to servants for the Caster enemies.

If you want to read my full thoughts on most of those tough fights, I made a post about it a few days ago that I tagged you in. It also contains a lengthy review of Bablyonia's story. I don't know if you've started to watch a Let's Play of Babylonia and Camelot to catch up with the story, but I have the link provided if you want to know my full thoughts on Babylonia. I can send you a link to my Camelot review later, though I'd have to do some digging first since I made that Camelot review back in late July.

As for my Saint Quartz grind, I have completed all of the London rerun quests and even unlocked Mordred's Interlude during it (which in turn boosted her NP damage for future battles). I have three rerun battles left in America before moving on to Camelot and Babylonia. However, with the time remaining and what's coming up for me in the evening, I won't have the time to do all the rerun quests in Camelot and Babylonia. I'll probably just do the three remaining rerun quests in America before the Merlin banner drops tomorrow and that's it.

I now have 36 Summoning Tickets and 303 Saint Quartz at the moment. The latter will increase to 336 once I finish the America rerun quests and get the free 30 Saint Quartz for finishing Babylonia tomorrow (as well as a few more free Saint Quartz that the game gives you, I think?). I'm currently saving that huge batch of Golden EXP cards you get after that one Gilgamesh fight to level up Merlin, and I have all of Merlin's Ascension Material ready to Max Ascend him soon, though I don't think I'll be able to have a 10/10/10 Merlin from the get-go.

I'm hoping for the best! I'm prepared to use up all my Summoning Tickets and Saint Quartz for Merlin and potentially whale if the situation calls for it!

Here are some retro characters that probably have a 0% chance of seeing the light of day in Smash, that I would unironically like to see:

Pitfall Harry (Pitfall!)
Mr. Do (Mr. Do!)
Q*Bert (Q*Bert)
Space Invader (Space Invaders)
Bentley Bear (Crystal Castles)
Alex Kidd (Alex Kidd series)
Alis Landale (Phantasy Star)
Frogger (Frogger)
Peter Pepper (BurgerTime)
Taizo Hori/Dig Dug (Dig Dug)
Mappy (Mappy)
Bub and Bob (Bubble Bobble)

Why do Sonic fans love to get mad at opinions.
There was a problem fetching the tweet
I swear Unleashed has become the most annoying Sonic game to discuss cause people either blindly defend it or go overboard with the hate.

AntDude was pretty fair in his review I thought.

I never played the DS version myself but I watched some gameplay a while back and it looks cumbersome, to say the least.

I think a lot of it has to do with the frustration that Sonic Unleashed's many redeeming qualities tend to go ignored outside of the fandom because of it's initial reception. We've never gotten a Sonic game with the scope of Unleashed since and we probably won't get one like it in the foreseeable future.

Of course, it doesn't excuse toxic behavior from any side. I haven't seen AntDude's review but judging his other reviews he's usually pretty fair.

Alright people, I have another tv show mini-review for you all: Sherlock season 2....

Ugh, ok. I know I could get flak for this, but season 2 ended on quite the sour note for me. Season 1 had a lot of promise and I quite enjoyed it, while season 2 leaves me with mixed feelings. The season started out strong, with doing a nice buildup confrontation between Sherlock and Moriarty...and then the final episode of season 2 happened, and I'm left with a lot of frustration. With Moriarty killing himself just because, I think that there's much wasted character potential there. I GET that he's insane and crazy and everything, but just because that's a key part of his personality doesn't mean that the writers had to kill him off just for shock value. With how much Moffat and the writing team had been building up the confrontation between Sherlock and Moriarty, it would've been better suited for a SERIES finale, the very final episode of the show...not an episode that's at the mid-point through the show. Moriarty could've been a very interesting character, but instead I feel this hollow frustration with how he was killed off so suddenly just to give the show melodrama...which makes me cringe in itself. Not to mention that Sherlock faking his death seems like a butt-pull and the emotional weight and power of the story dies for me.

These flaws for me are VERY major, because when watching the show I felt a ton of build up but got no worthwhile payoff. This show feels more like a soap opera rather than a mystery thriller...maybe because it actually is, as far as I can tell from watching this flawed, frustrating second season.

Now what do I LIKE about season 2? Well...I most certainly have issues with the storytelling in season 2, but that's pretty much restricted to the final episode. The first two episodes of season 2 are decent. I enjoyed the acting, the mystery solving is still fun, and the character development is nicely done with him morphing from a cold yet brilliant sociopath into a person who still has an extreme lack of social intelligence but is kinder and actually cares about Watson's well-being, as well as his other friends' well-beings (even though he passionately denies such). Season 2 utilized Watson more as well, which I was very pleased to see.

Season 2 overall though...I can't fully embrace. I don't like the storytelling of this season because the final episode significantly alters how I view the season as a whole.

Season 1 of Sherlock I would give a score of 8/10. A high tier season that got off to a very promising start.
Season 2 of Sherlock I would give a score of 5/10. Has a lot of good stuff going for it, but the bad stuff is equal in number. And, both the good and bad traits are very apparent. Mixed feelings, for sure.

His review was pretty much what you'd expect out of an Unleashed review, "Day good, night bad, frame rate chugs, Unleashed Project is nice."

He also was a bit more lenient on the Wii version of the game than most seem to be.
