Whatever you say, kid.
You couldn't understand me less as a person. I just like discussing things in times when I'm bored, and find it relaxing if its a good discussion. If you prove me definitely wrong on something, I'll happily take the knowledge you've gifted me and take it into the future, and I've demonstrated that umpteen times in my time on this site. One of my best friends remains as close as he does because he wanted someone like me in his life, someone who would be willing to challenge him. I am a person who obsessively strives to improve, so being "right" is the furthest from my interest, as in most things I would pursue, there isn't really a right answer. The sheer amount of effort I've been putting into my YouTube exploits should be testament to that, when the "right" way to do it would probably be to not worry about the quality of my stuff and go for what's easy. But when you devolve into "but no", it stops being a discussion, and I'm talking to a wall. And if anything, makes you come across as the one who wants to be right, even if it's not your intention or what you feel. It comes across as if you aren't interested in the discussion itself, but just want to be able to say "you're wrong" as quick as you can.
It's fine if you don't understand me as a person, I wouldn't blame you even if you were as close as family, but you'd do well not to make baseless assumptions about people you have a cursory knowledge of at best on an internet forum. I'm not sensitive to it, but I've seen many who are. And it's just generally not a good look.
