I went to a Monster Jam show for the first time today.

It was fun. Basically a WWE PPV with trucks.

Including an anticlimactic ending, the main event was a freestyle competition, but half the trucks broke down before they even got started lol.

But one dude got out of the truck and started breakdancing, really wish I had caught that on my phone.

Kind of like some argue that certain series gets to many characters, what's funny is that many argue FE gets too many while they don't look at Mario series getting a lot of playable characters. It's great to have new characters of course, but it really isn't that good or au when a main staple Nintendo IP gets another character.

The idea of Camilla possessing any of the characters is grounds for hilarity and disturbing imagery.

That said, when are we going to get some parodies of Spirits doing Codecs? The idea of Snake activating a Codec and getting a response from either the Colonel, Otacon or Mei-ling in one of the Fighters' bodies needs to happen at some point. I mean, we already have Otacon in Dr. Mario's body for one.

That used to not happen, the only reason why that keeps happening, at least last time I went, was because the midshow competition is about staying on two wheels. I miss it when they just brought out the ATVs or UTVs to race. Or heck, just did donuts instead.

I aware this isn't really what I need to response, and I have to put a disclaimer that I think both of you guys are taking this discussion way too seriously... especially when this is merely just about Rosalina if I am not mistaken, basically just a discussion about fricking video games. But, I do have to give credit that both of you give great explanations too.

Don't think I'm not familiar with your type. That's exactly why I got in this arguement with you, I don't care about Rosalina's power. I more so just hate your uptightness to being right. Being right on the internet means so little, all it takes is a google search and to find some sources.(Often not even credible, not saying this is the case here.) You brag about showing me, the one unfamiliar with the sources, sources. Yet you never once just pulled up the actual source.

Look Alucard, you might aware not just you, I have been through some heated discussions with Chikolad, heck, even just a few days ago actually. I'm not saying my opinion is the best, but there have been times I found Chikolad taking his opinions and statement a bit too uptight. Like I've had a great Sora in Smash discussion with Z25, yet a pretty abysmal one with Chikolad...

I've had always said this and I will say it again, please don't use the word "hate" on almost anything on the Internet because that's a really an extreme word to use.

Like, there are people way knowledgeable than me out there on things like say, dinosaurs. And I never get along with them as they rely more on google searches than actual skills in properly explaining things. If someone is wrong, give the sources, give them the details. Don't just sit on your high horse and laugh down at people for not knowing the thing they have no experience in.

Ok... not offense to Chikolad but yeah, this is what I have been trying to say to him in many discussions especially when it comes to Nintendo Switch stuff. Opinions on the other hand that's a bit of a whole other topic to talk about but it's better to have some source backup to if you want to "convince" others.

I won't say "sit of high horse and laugh down at a people" though... that's... not a very good way to describe others. That being said, his problem in my own opinion is again... meaningless name calling...

Don't get me wrong here, I never like criticizing what users here do, but when this keeps happening recently I've got to call it out. I have been called out a lot in the past, and for the most while my opinions never change I did tried my best to improve how I convey my thoughts here as long as it makes sense.

I definitely agree that it's always better to discuss things person to person. It's hard to convey emotion on a keyboard, which is why I usually let it slide for awhile. But I feel like I need to speak up when some people seem like they're getting hammered by him.

No idea who you're talking about(unless I just missed it and I do know them), no one I know of has put things as bluntly as me, at least not in a long while. All I have to go off of is how you present yourself in this thread from time to time. Right above is a directory for most of the Smash groups there are, including specialized groups for every character (or at least everyone in Smash 4; can't vouch for Melee or the others). I imagine the Smash 4 groups will all move over to Ultimate in a month (the Robincord is going to, at least), so now's as good a time as ever for your friend to make connections with people.

Okay, two things to clarify:
- Yes, and if you want we can discuss about why you want Sora in Smash as Square Enix rep too if you want.
- Ok...yet, you used to bring up some misleading statements about Switch (Recently is the gameplay resolution stuff) and I've never said we need to have voice chat DAILY LOL. If that's really the case, I wouldn't want to do it either to be honest, we can just set up and time and just chat for a couple of hours.

Oh really? My counter argument is that Smashboards here first off... can end up posts being lengthy, and can be mono tone so you cannot response immediately.

And you saying Discord voice chat app being horrible is somewhat subjective because you didn't bring up any reason why (For now). And there's many factors behind it, your mic, your headset, your internet setting will affect the voice chat quality. And if so you can always go for the voice chat app that your consider good.

Discord voice chat still lacks a "continuous audio" setting. This means that when it THINKS someone isn't talking, it completely cuts the audio feed from their mic. It's not an internet speed issue, it's a feature intended to minimise background noise.

It's quite bad at predicting when someone is and isn't talking though. So what you end up with is people's sentences constantly being cut off at the start and end. I was trying to use it for my Smash Direct reaction with my friend, but had to switch to Skype in the end since it has continuous audio.

You'll literally never find a company or whatever use Discord over Skype for conference calls and such. Discord is better for instant messaging and especially group chats, but it's glaring weakness is conference calls and the like.

This statement is pretty funny because Discord was never meant for conference calls, it is promote as gaming voice chat app.

While I agree your statement here a bit, but I think you do need to call it out (Doesn't have to be malicious ok?) someone's action when that action keeps going on for a while. Or something that can make a person more better.

All in all, I recommend @Prince Alucard to just settle this in voice chat or.. oh yeah... even in PM, I have use PM before to delve into the topic. Unfortunately, some user were a bit of uh... "Cowardly" (I'm talking about the action, not the person) when they didn't reply, and eventually quite the PMs I made... and don't even bother to do voice chat...

This is something people have been requesting Discord to implement since it started. It's an issue with the service.

Yeah, if that's the case I don't see they reason why Discord must change it. And I have yet to see any threads or videos saying that discord voice chat is bad... or the issues you mentioned at least.

Sometimes you have make enemies to make friends, especially from my experience. If someone was bullying another person in class, I'd say something to interrupt the class. I don't care if some people think I'm a ****, I feel guilty for not doing that IDK how many times.

First off... The Google search bar doesn't even show up "Discord Continuous Audio"... and I also check Discord itself and you can disable the setting where it diminishes echos and unnecessary sounds. Try to disable them next time and see how it works.

Yeah, I understand that not everyone likes to talk to strangers but to be fair... this is what you always have to do in real life actually...

I took some career lesson programs recently, and what I have taught you have to get used to talk to someone or heck cooperating with someone you don't know much, especially with my dream job which is becoming a diplomat.

And to be fair, I don't have time now too, and I am suffering some oral wounds in my mouth recently so I don't feel like to chat either.

Moreover, you and @Prince Alucard should bring it to PMs, or Discord chat.

People are taking a cutscene whose sole purpose was to set up a basic plot of "save all these possessed characters" way too seriously. You need the most amount of characters to setup as enemies while also having the bare minimum of playable ones.
Kirby being the only one that survives is a ganeplay choice, not a story one.
And regardless of Sakubias, it HAD to be one of the O8, and, tbh, Kirby fits the role best out of any of them since this kind of **** is a monthly occurence to him.
Also, even from a story perspective, the initial cutscene is supposed to show the overwhelming power Galleem has. Some characters underestimate it and end up biting the bullet(Zelda, Mewtwo, Palutena, etc), others realize they can't do **** and try to run away but the beams are faster(Falcon, Falco, the Pits), some stand their ground but know they can't directly fight it but dodging ends up being futile(Lucario, Greninja, Link). And some are just straight up supposed to be comedic unless you believe Snake really thought that was his best option.
It's not stupposed to be a personal attack against your character who you believe to be OP. It's not even Sakurai showing how powerful his character is, Kirby only gets away because all the circumstances allowed him to. Had he hesitated in escaping, had he not possess a Warp Star or had the beams went into any other direction, he would be gone too: it was all luck.
