Going to spoiler it just in case, because I could definitely use some help with it

Spoiler: XC2 Torna Super Boss

So the boss is a golden plant, and it has this ability that it uses every 30 seconds or so that restores his health, and not only that, but the damage I do during 5 seconds or so heals him instead of damaging him.

I tried building some elemental orbs and doing as much damage as I can with a chain attack, but for some reason this guy refuses to keep any elemental orbs that I put on him. I remember I thought I had finally 8 orbs on him, popped the chain attack only to see that I only had the last elemental orbs I put on him.

And last, after 2 minutes or so of battle, bam, an attack that makes you suddenly die (don't know how it's said in English, but it's been a thing in the series). I remember in the original Xeno I could just equip some gems to prevent the sudden death, but I haven't found any of those in the DLC, so... I gave up lol

You know what's funny?

By the time you writted your post, I actually tried to fight the superboss you were talking and, huh...

I beat it like on my 3-4 try, while I was at level 74~.

Let me explain.

This superboss have indeed healing, AOE around him and it can inflict the statue Doom, while there is a item that one of the two previous superboss drop that prevent doom, I didn't use it. Instead, I did like you did, putting 4 orbs around him while dealing as much damages as I could before he kill me, I break the orb one by one (never two in one turn), and due to that, Jin & Brighid were able to deal monstrous damages to him (especially Jin, that guy is broken as ****). One thing to note is that you can get three orbs...if you follow the correct path that is. Otherwise, I think you can get only 1 or two orbs if you do a I, II and III paths. So try to change your driver weapons and try to a get easy path like Light (Mythra), Thunder (Addam or Lora if you gave her a thunder weapon) and Fire (Brighid). Then, do a "fake" path and then wait and deal damages until the boss use a dangerous attack you feel you can't survive, be sure also to use HUGO THE GOD if you feel like the AI isn't doing it's job correctly, be sure to max his agility as high as you can, that help ALOT, and in all, be sure that your blades are max out and that Lora & Addam can critic heals.

There you go, I hope it help, if me of all peoples was able to defeat that boss at only level 74 without any particular setup (I used the same setup I used on the two previous one, which isn't exactl the best one for this boss lol), then I feel you can do it.

Nah. He stopped being ****** for an episode because the family was sick of it, but it's part of his people's anatomy that they have to let their ****** ness out or it turns to bile and they get poisoned and die from it.
