I mainly intend on helping you in certain situations that will help you in the long run when you understand and apply them in the future, that's all.
Oh, all right. It was just a joke...

...

Are you going to get the new Spiderman game?

I understand that at the end of the day, but it's just timing your jokes that's important in life, without sounding harsh at all. Either way, I'll leave it at that.

I don't plan on getting it, honestly.

Man **** Zola and his high Crit Rate in Birthright Chapter 9 Lunatic.

Had two runs in a row that had me lose because he kept dodging my only characters with high hit rates and criting them back. Don't remember having that trouble when I first fought him on my 3DS.

Oh, hello there, plush frog- erm, Mr. Substitution.
This place blew up, because the Smash thread closed due to @Shishœ replying to a user with an meme. He derailed the thread, and he got a warning for it. During the closure time, we had to talk here, albeit temporary.

Sounds like you're having an luck problem. Maybe you were lucky last time, but this time it did not hold up.

All right. I know the timing of the jokes are "relevant".

Heatran is so fun to use in battle. He says no to stall with his taunt and he just decimates annoying checks.
I'm just not much of a PS4 guy, really: maybe if it was on the Switch, I'd reconsider, but I know that's not going to happen.
Oh. I am mostly a Switch and regular PC guy, but at times I will go on my PS4 Pro or Steam. I mostly use PC gaming for Minecraft.
Yes, I know Steam is on the PC.

Well, Yellowlord likes to help me everytime I go out of my normal limit.
Well, I mainly do it with the intentions of helping him, honestly, not to be harsh or mean.

Just finished Sonic Adventure 2, well, here are some of my thoughts. Obligatory Coricus Coricus tag, because Sonic.

Sonic is one of the few video game franchises in the world in which not only is it excusable to sacrifice compelling design for the sake of cheap thrills and shallow gameplay, it’s actually encouraged and expected. Why? Because, despite being somewhat simplistic, Sonic games have always entertained, despite the fact that the series’ greatest moments involve holding right on the D-Pad and watching as Sonic flies through a series of loops and corkscrews. It’s in these moments that Sonic games score big, and surprisingly, it’s for the exact opposite reason than you’d think, because Sonic games give you the sensation that you are in control of its spiky blue hero at all times, even when you’re not. Watching Sonic blaze through a roller coaster-like maze of twisting platforms is somehow fun, even though you’re not really doing anything.

Not surprisingly, then, SA2 gets its greatest and most memorable moments when it’s doing just that. Seeing as how this is a 3D game, the Sonic Team did their best to replicate the brilliant levels in the series’ 2D counterparts in the third dimension. It works fairly well, when you’re given control of Sonic, levels are very linear but extremely fast paced. In most cases, you’ll simply hold up on the analog stick to run forward at sonic speed, all the while maneuvering left and right to hit speed boosts, jump off of ramps, avoid obstacles, and so forth. The sense of speed is amazingly on-spot, and the tracks themselves twist and turn to no end, resulting in a lot of cheap, but effective thrills. Whenever Sonic speeds through a loop or corkscrew, some well-placed boost pads will direct him, so whenever this happens, getting through is usually just a matter of sitting back, holding up on the analog stick and watching as Sonic does something that you really have no connection to. It feels like a roller coaster, which is perfectly fine in my opinion.

The two-sided story really only acts as a plot element so you can view two sides of the adventure, as the two campaigns really don’t differ that much in terms of actual gameplay. There are three characters at each end, but each character controls identically to a character on the opposite side. So, you know those roller coaster-like levels that I liked so much? On the heroic side, you’ll play through them as Sonic, and you’ll play through similar evil-sided levels as Shadow. You’ll also be engaging in other types of gameplay sequences throughout. Tails and Eggman both stomp around their levels in robots that fire homing missiles, and their segments are devoted to locking onto as many enemies as you possibly can. Then, Knuckles and Rouge star in their own treasure hunting levels that force you to follow clues to find pieces of the Chaos Emeralds. SA2 makes its mistakes when the Sonic Team forgets what made the Sonic games so popular in the first place.

The Tails/Eggman levels aren’t necessarily bad, but they feel extremely tacked-on, like they belong in another game. Whereas the Sonic/Shadow stages are based around an amazing sense of speed, the Tails/Eggman robots stomp around at the speed of a snail. Here, you’re simply holding down the fire button to auto-lock onto as many foes as possible and then release and let the explosions fly. It’s simplistic and boring, and gets really boring after a while. Most of these levels are designed with linearity in mind, as it’s simply a matter of getting from point A to point B while blowing up anything that stands in your way. The Sonic Team even implemented some platforming sections into these levels that put the robots’ clunky hover abilities to use. When placed next to the fast Sonic/Shadow levels, these stages are a bore and completely unnecessary.

Oh, but just wait until you see the Knuckles/Rouge levels. They’re even worse. These treasure hunting segments have you trekking through a large level searching for pieces of the Chaos Emerald, and you’re supposed to find them via clues and a little blinking meter at the top of the screen, which blinks more rapidly when you’re coming to a piece. This alone isn’t bad by itself, but the controls are disgusting. Knuckles and Rouge have the ability to glide around in the air, but this move is so clunky and buggy that it’s difficult to determine how much air time you’ll get. They can also climb walls, but this buggy feature has them occasionally, randomly releasing from whatever wall they’re clinging too, which is incredibly frustrating when you’re trying to do something. But worst of all is the camera. The game’s camera runs consistent throughout the game, but the Sonic/Shadow levels and Tails/Eggman stages were so simplistic and straightforward that camera control isn’t even necessary. But the Knuckles/Rouge levels require exploration, something the camera system seems to be against.

So really, SA2 gets it faults because Sonic Team forgot what makes a Sonic game good in the first place. It’s about the intensity. It’s about the zigzags, the loops, the turns, the corkscrews, the roller coaster ride. It’s about the speed. When SA2 accomplishes this, it’s fun as hell, despite being somewhat shallow. But you’re only playing as Sonic or Shadow for about 30% of the game. The rest? Shooting robots and hunting for diamonds? I suppose it could have worked if it were executed better, but these instances are so boring and broken that they take away what life the game already had. Little diversions, such as the horrible character VS character battle sequences and the atrocious kart racing levels, only work against the game’s design and turn a decent game into a bad one, in my opinion. To be fair, SA2 does have a lot here. Each level has five missions, all of which are unique and come with a letter grade. The multiplayer is good. It’s a rounded package that would be more impressive if only it were packed with a better game.

And then there’s the music, which I’ve saved for last simply because I’ve been putting off the miserable experience of recalling it for as long as I can. If I write a review, though, I feel the need to warn readers about the potential hazards of playing, in this case, the game’s audio department could send you to an insane asylum. The music in SA2 is, honestly, the worst music I have ever heard in my life. The game’s soundtrack has this very distinct “old nerdy dad trying to act like his son and be cool” theme, as the music here is obviously an attempt to be all hip and modern-like without any concept of what real music is. The first Sonic level has this god-awful rock song with lyrics like “Gotta follow my rainbow!” and “Set me free!” And those Knuckles levels? I thought I would go deaf. The “rap music” that’s been pumped into this game would make Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda sound good. And it’s a shame, too because SA2 looks good and has a solid framerate. But when a soundtrack is this bad, everything else is almost irrelevant. Just my opinion, though!

TL;DR: If SA2 was all Sonic, it would be amazing. But it isn’t all Sonic.

Just my 2 cents.

Alright, I'm not the biggest Sonic fan here, but all I retained from this post is you saying that City Escape is horrible.

And that my friend, that's your opinion, however...
Like, god-awful? That's putting it really harsh, too harsh imo, also, the soundtrack may not be your thing, but it's not to the levels that it make the rest of the game terrible, if it felt torture to you, fine, but don't say it be torture to everyone else, since it's been show that alot of peoples like SA2 soundtrack. (If less than SA1 soundtrack admittedly)

Beside that, I'm not the Sonic expert, so, that's all I had to say, have a good day sir.

This here is a better place, since Fortnite is related to Nintendo now that it's on Switch.

Fortnite tweeted this:

Tonight? But for what?
Something NOT related to Smash for sure buddy.

Not related to anything here but I was digging back on my old posts here and I came across a post in 2016 when I had my first episode of anxiety (back then I had no idea it was actually anxiety and I thought I was dying). I chalked it up to being obese and a lack of exercise among other things.

https://smashboards.com/threads/nintenzone-social-4-bring-it-in-guys.437072/page-167#post-21256001

I shared my terrifying experience with all you guys and you all recommended that I go see a health expert (which I did mind you the following day). Really had everyone scared there.

Which was weird. Because I didn't deal with anxiety again afterwards until November of that same year when I got the disorder that comes and goes frequently to this date.

Ever since then, I lost weight (now i'm at a normal BMI and get adequate exercise) among other improvements to my life.

Hard to believe I have it documented on this very site.

We're shells of our former selves lol. That was during the time where BoTW hype was at a fever pitch and everyone was gushing over it. What a different time that was.

And it's funny because you liked this post as well as the one I was referring to from 2016. That's some long-term storytelling right there. :shades:

Ironically though, it was ChikoLad ChikoLad who brought up the possibility of it being the result of what I felt in mind. Which I would find out was actually the case 5 months later.
