I had a 5-Star Sothe lying around that pity broke my Kinshi Hinoka pulls in the past.

Boy, people weren't kidding about him being powerful. Veronica still works better for Chrom's main team I think, but Sothe wasn't a bad unit to get pity broken by.

I haven’t played Octopath Traveler in much longer than I’d like to admit.
Same, probably because that I don't have that much time to play for now. Once I got all eight characters, I am also deciding to starting which character's 2nd chapter.
I don't care if this kid is from 500 years before the events of XC2.

I accept this headcanon.

Hm... The kid's hair style does look like Rex... eyes though...
Then again, we all know that Nia is a Blade too, so man if we actually see pre-flesh eater Nia 500 years ago, it will be... a bit awkward...

And oh boy we also get to see the King of Torna, which is also Adam's dad. This dude screams both Dunban and Dickson from XC1 lol.

And yeah, in XC2... these two fellas share the same problem lol.

They genuinely believed it would be impossible for them to port the game to Switch when they originally said it wouldn't come to Switch, but some time after that, they were able to get a lot of help and advice from other devs that led to them overcoming the hurdles that were preventing them from making the game work well on Switch. They wanted to put the game on Switch since they held one in their hands, but decided it would be best to give a definitive "no" so that people wouldn't spread rumours that a port was in development. That way, in the off chance they get a miracle and the port can happen, at least it would be a pleasant surprise to people.
Okay, first off I have to give an apology to Gears for Breakfast and AHiT devs since I used to point out them lying to fans. That was never the case lol.

Nevertheless, I am totally fine if they just couldn't port the game to Switch, but I still stand by and think that them giving a definitve "No" doesn't really help people stop spread rumor but backfires them. It would be way more easier for them to go with the old saying "AHiT is not planned for Nintendo Switch" and everyone would be fine about it.

The main hurdle was the fact that AHiT is a CPU intensive game on the PC, rather than a GPU intensive game. And the Switch didn't have near good enough a CPU to play the game at an acceptable performance level. Porting to Xbox One and PS4 was a challenge on it's own but those systems at least had good enough CPUs so that they didn't have to change too much of how the game ran certain things, but for the Switch, a ton of key processing tasks had to be redone to make the Switch's GPU handle them instead of the CPU. The Switch's GPU isn't exactly a powerhouse either so really the whole job wasn't realistically in the cards for them. On top of that, UE3 isn't natively supported on Switch and there are certain features of the engine that weren't built with the current gen consoles in mind. It's primarily designed for PC games.
Um, I checked the article and yes, going "Switch fanboy mode" a bit, but just to let you know in the article the devs never implicated that Switch is the most hard to develop or hard to devlop more than PS4 and Xbox One... sure they did implicated that Switch pretty underpowered but we already know that and the engine was indeed outdated for newer consoles like how many were saying back then. So at least from my perspective, Switch being underpowered wasn't the main hurdle for them to port AHiT to Switch.

Underpower was definitely one of the hurdles, but the main hurdle was again, get AHiT engine to even run on Switch since to the engine being outdated.
That analogy of comparing Switch and Nokia phone from my own interpretation, that was the analogy (And also the part I quoted) for saying all consoles are different compared to PC. While I do admit the game porting to Xbox One and PS4 might have less problems compare to porting to Switch, but from this quote alone shows that games that were for designed for PC porting to all current gen consoles takes time and effort. Not to mention AHiT while not looking highly graphical utilizes a lot of power from the CPU... sounds a bit odd in my opinion. Games that could be spec efficient have hard time running on Switch I definitely won't be surprised, but again don't get me wrong I am not saying AHiT is not a good game at any means.

By looking how it runs only at 720p and 30fps, I... probably go for Steam version then since I prefer it run at 60fps. I will still get Switch version eventually if it gets discount.

Just an outside "rant", Switch being an underpower console compare to PS4 and Xbox One has always been something that every single game devs should overcome. And yes, you have many people say it will be an Achilles heel for Switch back in 2017 when it comes to third party support, but now that's totally not the case anymore, sort of. Since I still don't expect games like Red Dead Redemption, Kingdom Hearts 3, Assassins Creed Odysey coming to Switch.
I won't lie. When I saw that character, I immediately thought of Hironobu Sakaguchi/Master Eraqus.

No version of Carmilla I kow has ever done that, even the original.
I believe they're talking about the model/one of the inspirations for Carmilla, who is apparently Elizabeth Bathory. Carmilla and Bathory aren't related in the books, but in the Fate series, this inspiration/influence is noted and Carmilla is the "true" version of Elizabeth Bathory.

"Okay, I may've not gotten Summer Artoria, but at the very least, MAYBE this'll finally be Waver or normal Tamamo?"

I like Marie Antoinette, but I was hoping that golden Caster with all those golden glitters when the summoning happened would finally be my first normal Tamamo or even my first Waver so that it would perfectly make up for not pulling Summer Artoria, but alas, it turned out to be a rather disappointing pull.

At least I now have an NP4 Siegfried from this summoning. Looks like I'll have to do all that I can to get an NP5 Chloe von Einzbern and all her Ascension materials to make up for the lack of Summer Artoria.

So in all, these were my summer servants that I got from the Summer event: Summer Tamamo, Summer Scathach, and Summer Marie.

On a positive note, I'll forever be grateful for pulling Summer Tamamo, even if I had to sacrifice roughly half of my Saint Quartz going into it to finally pull her on the first day of her banner.

At the very least, I actually wouldn't be surprised to see her as an Assist Trophy.

Good to hear Fox will be fully usable in the main campaign. The more I watch, the more interested I get.

Yeah. I think he's just making a note on the original model for Carmilla, much like he is with Dracula, whereas Bathory supposedly killed alot of women to bathe in their blood, compared to Vlad III who impaled alot of people and used fear to absolutely frighten the Ottoman Empire to fight for the freedom of his homeland of Romania.

Yeah, that's one of the two things that draw me to the game, other than the idea/gameplay. The fact that we can play as Fox the entire time, and that the toys-to-life gimmick is completely optional.

I'm definitely keeping tabs on this one. Anything in particular that you're looking for? If I pick up on it, I can let you know.

They say Blades are molded slightly by their Drivers' characteristics; so that explains Mythra's rack. :V
