Literally the build from the Gamepedia wiki, so there's some stuff in there like DC that's irrelevant for this fight in particular.

If you can't get a +1 merge (understandable), basically any Def buff or B-level support will bump her up enough to survive the blow.

Otherwise the Close Def seal is the only skill she needs to survive; QR3 just makes Hector eat a face full of dragon and die on the retort.

Im constantly redoing the second paralogue map to see if she wins by initiating first, but the AI avoids having Hecc initiating on her after that, but I guess the outcome will still be unfavorable.


At least I overkilled B!Eph with Belica for the lolz. (lul 40x4)

I suspected something like this, and good news, there's still hope.

That setup - which, remember, is for all practical purposes a Close Def 3 seal - just needs +4 Def from somewhere (Ward Dragons, Ward Fliers, Spur Def 3, Fortify Def 3, and Earth Dance 2/3 will all do it) or Summoner Support B.

As illustrated, she won't survive with much, but if she's at full HP when combat begins, she will survive. And if she has QR3, Hector won't.

Doing the Lunatic maps is not worth it unless you have the 3x Bonus.

For Tempest Trials, I always just do the Lunatic 7 maps run twice a day. Then after doing so on the last day, I auto-battle Hard 5 maps, usually including a healer without a weapon just in case, until I hit the highest total score reward.

If you play just the two bonus runs per day, and you're using a bonus unit, then by this stage you should be at about 25-30,000 points, though. You get about 2000 points for clearing the highest Lunatic level with a bonus unit and the score boost, so you can get 3-4,000 points per day easily.

You could also just run the highest Hard level on auto-battle a bunch of times, once you've done the bonus runs. That should get you caught up pretty quickly.

You only need to use one bonus unit, just so you know.

I've been slacking on mine and I'm only at around 30k. I'll probably do more auto battling tonight. Tobin's been my MVP this Tempest.
