I've noticed my Switch getting hot quite quickly when playing the likes of Xenoblade 2 and when I was playing the DBFZ beta. Fans get kinda loud too.
I haven't even used my Switch all that much in a while either.
If you were playing in docked mode. Getting hot and fan being loud is actually a super normal thing for Nintendo Switch. It often makes me anxious whenever I put my console into the dock and play games for hours, whenever I take it out man it guess extremely hot.
If you are playing in handheld on the other hand, then yeah, that's not normal.
Guess I'll join the club of "my Switch is dying". First it was the right joy-con stick which does whatever it wants all the time. When playing the DBFZ beta the fans were extremely loud, so I guess it will happen too with other games that require more from the console.
Your Switch, is dying? For me, it's a common sense where techs will start to act weird when time goes on no matter how well you treat your console. Then again I get that these problems are things that man either hard to explain or Nintendo should really pay attention to.
I mean my both left and right joy cons will drift directions, it's really bothersome a lot. Right now in some particular directions it still does and it happens when you flick the joy stick.
I have mentioned it before, if you are playing games in docked mode, fans will get loud so that isn't a problem. In handheld mode it depends.
My Switch's problems are more internal than external. For some reason I get errors frequently, the type of errors that make you restart. One time I finished a playthrough for the day, put it up in sleep mode, and the next thing I saw like an hour later was the screen bright as hell and it saying it needed to restart. I didn't even think you could have errors pop up in mother****ing sleep mode.
That's why I agree that the Switch will eventually get a new model. It's like the Xbox 360 of this gen, which is pretty late into it but it was gonna happen eventually.
Oh, I see, that really shouldn't happen.
And no, this doesn't mean Switch should release a new model, or should I say this isn't relevant that much. What Nintendo needs to do is release free save data backup... not all behind pay wall. So we if our Switch has problems, we can just send it fix and not worrying about the save data.
Or you happened to have used too many Fire Blades lol.
have i made it clear i really dont like xenoblade 2
"Oh, that's a... darn shame"
I mean yeah, not gonna everyone is gonna like it, but hopefully other similar games like Ys VIII, Shining Resnance Refrain, and Valkyria Chronicles 4 will get you interested into action JRPGs, assuming you aren't disliking the genre as a whole.
Or if I remember correctly you used to mention just don't like the anime style right? If that's the case then yeah, probably games like Final Fantasy, XC1, and XCX are better options to go to.
Wow, a number of people are blindly listening to Marcus Sellars' claims that a more powerful Switch is coming next year.
Before you say blindly, let me tell you that this was the same dude that predicted that Fortnite, Diablo III will come to Switch.
I can understand if this is from sources like 4chan or... SuperMetalDave64... but, yeah, take any rumor with a huge grain of salt.
Regardless of what he's saying, I think one will come next year anyway. 2020 at the latest.
I agree, or at the bare minimum at the holiday of 2019.
I'm not holding my breath.
But if we do, it definitely won't have his claim of 4K resolution.
Indeed, that's never gonna be possible even in 2019 or 2020, but who knows.
That being said, the rest of his claims on Switch 2 sounds super obvious... more RAMs, 128GB, Switch price drop, using Tegra X2 were all a very safe guess.
Speaking of Tegra X2, it's a very good time for Switch to have that in 2019 or 2020 instead of having it in 2017, it's nearly impossible for Switch to have Tegra X2 in 2017 and still keeping it under 300$ price...
The fact of the matter is that the Switch releasing as a mid-gen console (and closer to the launch of Sony and Microsoft's next systems than the release of the current ones) puts it in an awkward position if Nintendo waits until they come up with a full on new system with the next big idea. Third party games are going to want to take full advantage of the new systems and it will become increasingly harder for them to make low-end Switch ports.
That's... totally never going to be the case. I don't get why some will think when Sony and Microsoft releases a more powerful console third parties will instantly ignore Switch. And even if that's somewhat of a case, I personally don't think Switch sales will starting to take the heat. That being said only time will tell.
And don't expect third parties to quickly jump to the new systems when they release it, just look at how PS4 and Xbox One compare to PS3 and Xbox 360. Many were ports and some games were cross gen launch. So third parties will take some time to fully go full on to the nex gen system from Sony and Microsoft.
I prefer the original Sam Raimi trilogy.
Homecoming is fun enough but it definitely feels more kid oriented (or for those who want a generally fun movie with Spider-Man and not much else).
However, I feel the Sam Raimi films have only become more enjoyable to me as I grow older and just have more nuance to them and more to actually talk about and dissect, especially Spider-Man 2.
Homecoming was enjoyable but it kinda bleeds together with the other modern Marvel movies that kinda focus squarely on action and comedy with ultimately simplistic narratives and character motivations that don't do a lot for me other than serve as a decent excuse to munch on popcorn.
I only enjoy the first two original Spidermna films, 3rd one was meh...
As for Homecoming, the only problems is how it skips how Peter got his power and other scenes, but that's understandable.
As for your rest of opinions, not sure where you are coming from lol. I think Homecoming portrays more of Spiderman's Peter side and not Spiderman, which is actually a good thing. And while Vulture is not the best villain I think he's pretty decent.
