So one of my favorite details about Walhart's map has to do with the reinforcements. Only the Axe Armor and the Red Mage spawn them after you kill them. Why those units specifically?

They're based on Cervantes and Excellus, and their positions on the map even match up to where they were in Awakening relative to Walhart.

Like, with Lyn I could understand it somewhat. It was pretty much immediately after she got her Valentines version, and Brave Lyn was still a major arena killer. But Lucina hasn't gotten an alt since Brave Lucina almost a FULL YEAR ago.

So much salt lol.

I think Is less about alts and more about Fateswakening taking a spotlight once again; specially because the most recent new hero banner is also Awakening.

I put out money if they did a crossover banner with xenoblade or hell any fitting Nintendo characters.

Yeah, when I saw her doing that I went "oh god this is what Pumpkaboo warned me about, isn't it?".
Thankfully, in my second try, I managed to beat her before she had a chance to go full on bull**** mode. Cleric Divine Skill allowing Cyrus to deal two max boosted compressed spells with E.Atk buff dishes out 1/4 of her HP at Lv50 and then there's the damage Therion does with his Divine Skill(why is it so broken) and Olberic with his(why does this deal less damage than an AOE).

Hopefully, Warmaster proves to be useful on Olberic, I just fear for his SP with all these 35 SP skills

it helped that I got the other three before her but id run out of SP and she would go "GOTTA BLAST" and go nuts. I hate using Tressa but I had to use her and the rune job and use a skill that lets augmentation affect the whole part and had to spam sidestep. Btw Make Cyrus a Sorcerer.

the boss only took me 2 or more days because I would get her to red and she would then go wild and by motivation was low. But I got her to red everytime/SPOILER]

But that's just the thing, too...other Legendary Banners also matched up with a then-recent New Heroes banner. Legendary Hector with the Fangs banner, Ryoma with Wings of Fate, Female Grima with Branded King, Ephraim with Sacred Memories, and Ike with World of Dawn. I think Lyn was the only non-OC Legendary Hero that didn't correspond with a then-recent banner.

I mean honestly I do think Legendary Marth is a matter of when, not if. It just depends on when the next Archanea banner is. And I'm just hoping said banner has Lena and Julian on it, plus cavalier Hardin and Nyna.

The Halloween Banner is what I look forward to seeing. It gave us two really cool male units. I hope they do the same next time. Werewolves, mummies, demons/oni, zombies, ghosts, there's so much potential for fun designs.

So there's been a lot of exciting announcements that came out of the Fate/Grand Order 3rd Anniversary Event in Japan.

First up, Caster Scathach, or Scathach=Skadi as she is called, is the feature servant for the anniversary event, and it turns out she's an extremely good Caster. She's basically the Merlin for Quick-cards. Yep, Quick-based servants are finally getting the love and attention they deserve (just imagine using two Skadis and one Scathach/Rider Kintoki/Jack the Ripper/Achilles/any other strong Quick NP servant; ooo boy, that'll pack a punch!). It also means the holy trinity of support-based Casters based on the cards has finally been complete. The memes that emerged from this news has lead to funny memes such as this one:



Second, OG Saber finally gets a buff: her Instinct skill boosts her NP charge by 30% at most in addition to giving her critical stars! This calls for a fitting meme (also from the Fate/GO reddit):

Next, the 3rd Anniversary also allows you to half the normal amount of Paid Saint Quartz for your guaranteed 5-star summon. In other words, the special gacha is cheaper!

All these updates won't happen in the international servers until Fate/GO has its third anniversary there, but it's something to look forward to!

Oh wait, I'm forgetting the most important news that came out the 3rd Anniversary Event:

The Camelot Singularity is getting a movie that will be animated by Production I.G., and the Babylonia Singularity is getting a TV anime series done by Cloverwork (A1 Pictures)!

Both release in 2019, and they showed this teaser reveal for the two of them:

We should be getting the Babylonia Singularity by the end of this year in NA, so that should give us a decent gap between that and the anime adaptation that will eventually release.

It's nice to see the Camelot Singularity is getting even more love! This isn't the first time it had a special media-based adaptation. Apparently, there was an actual stage play in Japan that featured that very Singularity a year ago. Remember this particular Ozymandias video I showed you two when Ozy's banner first released in NA a month ago? I later learned that this video comes from that very stage play!

Admittedly, I haven't seen the stage play yet since it's tough to find a video of it online, but if it does pop up, I might check it out sometime (I heard it cuts out several characters from the story though, so that's kinda a bummer). That aside, I definitely want to watch that movie release when it comes out, as well as that Babylonia TV anime adaptation. I've heard Babylonia's story is also one of the highlights in Fate/Grand Order, and since it's getting that adaptation, I think it shows how beloved it was by the Japanese players.

Not surprising to see Camelot and Babylonia coming out as animes, considering how popular they are compared to the others. That being said, I do hope that if Septem is ever done, it gets a full rework, especially as even the writer admitted that the Nero praising was too much, as well as Romulus being 3-Star when he should've been higher. Regardless, interested to see how the animes will do compared to Apocrypha and Last Encore.

Spoiler: Thoughts on Skadi

Also, Skadi is not quite the Merlin of Quick Cards. She definitely has some of the stuff they need to be good, like Quick Cards getting majorly buffed, a NP Gauge Raiser like Waver and a good Noble Phantasm with Damage Reducing, a Harp of Healing-like Evasion effect, another Crit buff and Death Immunity. But what she lacks that both Merlin and Tamamo have is sustain. Specifically, she lacks healing.
That's one of the things that makes Merlin and Tamamo so good for their groups is their ability to sustain, as Merlin has both healing and invincibility and Tamamo has healing, reducing cooldowns and an NP Gauge reducer. Both help keep their groups up, while Skadi's way of keeping her group up is her Damage reducer and Evasion as well as lowering the enemies' Crit chances, but her group will still eventually do down whereas Merlin and Tamamo can keep their groups up for much longer.
So very likely, she will be paired up with Osakabe-hime as Osakabe actually has the heal, although currently it is a Pseudo-heal, as it only increases Max HP and doesn't actually heal. That being said, her NP hasn't been buffed yet, so if her NP gets buffed to actually heal, both together may possibly be the answer for Quick Teams, as both together can give extra Health, an Evasion, a Damage Reducer, a Crit Chance reducer and extra DEF, which gives a surprising amount of sustain for Quick Teams. Both also have an NP Gauge increase that can target an Ally, both have a DEF Decrease for enemies and both also increase Quick Card effectiveness. And one also gives what the other doesn't, as Osakabe can boost Crit Star Generation unlike Skadi and Skadi can increase Crit Damage unlike Osakabe.
Either way, Skadi is a step in the right direction for Quick Teams and I even saw a video where she was used with Waver and Berserker Lancelot and Waver and Skadi practically allowed Lancelot to use his NP on the start of each wave of enemies. She's not quite Merlin, Waver or Tamamo tier, but she certainly has the skills to lessen the gap between Quick Teams and Buster/Art teams.

Also, 3000 years memes never get old. What makes that even better is the fact that Arthuria gets her Strengthening after 3 Years. So that 3 makes it even better.

Also, saw the Lucina Legendary Hero trailer. And I couldn't have been the only one to think of Xenoblade and Shulk when I saw Future Vision. Still, looks pretty powerful. Although it's sad that people are disliking her trailer just because she's a 5th Alt. Lyn made sense because she had an Alt come just shortly before her LH appearance, not to mention Lyn already had a Bow Alt, but it's been a long time since Lucina's last Alt and unlike Lyn, she's using a new weapon compared to her other Alts.
That being said, we have Ike, Lyn and now a Lucina Legendary Hero. Who else thinks Roy is going to get one as well, considering he's the last of the CYL Winners who hasn't gotten one now?

Owain with his swordhand bit would go very well with a Werewolf costume. Azama as an Oni would have some fun lines too. It would also pick up the torch the previous Halloween banner had in making two alts for a pair of male units that were considered bad. Oh and naturally they would miraculously be armor units lol.

I'd LOVE to see those!!

I think a Pirate Matthew would be pretty cool, too, since he's one of the first units that you start with in Heroes IIRC. And any male mage as a Wizard would also be pretty rad, although they had a Witch Nowi last year.

But a Werewolf Owain and an Oni Azama would be priceless!! They DEFINITELY need to come before anything else
