I get uneasy when people are extremely friendly or kind/sweet to me not because I fear they are faking it, but I never really feel like I have earned such attention and often feel like I'll ultimately let that person down somehow.

And with two of the three people I did get comfortable receiving such kindness from, they did heel face turn and screw me over in the end.

Currently going through the struggle again with a childhood friend who some think has a thing for me.

Just came back from the new Mission Impossible movie, MI: Fallout. I watched it in 3D.

It was very good! This is my new personal favorite MI movie. It had some memorable character interactions, and the action in the second half was quite intense. The directing was solid too.

Spoiler: Movie spoilers

I think my only issue with the movie was that Walker turning out to be the real John Lark, a.k.a. leader of the Apostles that was working with the main villain from the last movie, was not that surprising to me, especially when they mentioned early on how an Apostle could infiltrate the CIA, and with the way Walker was introduced... yeah, it wasn't hard to figure out where it was going. Still, him and Ethan do establish a decent bond before the twist is revealed and Walker kills Baldwin (didn't expect he would die either). The final fight between Ethan and Walker was epic too, from the entire helicopter chase to the eventual struggle to get the detonator at the edge of the cliff.

I had a feeling Ethan would turn off the detonator at the last second with the way the movie was building up as his teammates tried to defuse it, but I didn't think he'd do it with his mouth. Clever stuff!

There's a lot more I could gush about this movie, but I think I'd be here for hours then. It was an awesome watch for sure!
