The stigma shouldn't even matter in the first place.

Besides, anyone who dares to treat an armless person drinking from a sippy cup a baby is an ******* and we shouldn't back down from an idea because of an *******.
I'm not saying to back down from the idea though. Like, LGBTQ+ had and still has a stigma but we're working on removing the stigma while pushing for it. Did I really sound like boogie to you just then?

Also congrats @Shishœ as your present I set the site on fire

Welp, gonna take a break from Persona 5 for the next few days and try to do some shiny hunting in XY and ORAS

Let's see how that will go

Thank you all for the birthday wishes
Goddamnit Gwen, all I wanted was to change my avi
Gwen confirmed to be Warchamp.
Nah, Warchamp is the firefighter that comes clean Gwen's mess
I don’t like how Haanit and all them speak with the old English accent.

;)
That's a bad opinion because Frog has forever proven characters who speak in Olde English in RPGs are the best.

Ugh, I feel so bad for benching H'aanit but Olberic tho

Some do find some use, but again, there are things like an upward hat throw that have literally no use.
I mean you can't even use that move without using motion controls lol, I think the best complaint is how there are some moves that are not only useless but also only works via motion controls. This is even more ridiculous than how they did back in the Wii's Super Mario Galaxy, at least those moves were useful.

But imagine trying to experiment with things in the racing minigames. One **** up and you gotta start it all over again. Now granted, it's also pretty nitpicky, but it's still a bigger punish than 10 coins because you lost more than just a handful of seconds here. (then again, you can always just train outside of the minigame itself, so whatever, I'm an idiot again)
I was never a big fan of most of those mini games, and you may also heard mini games like that rope jumping use to have a glitch where you can just let Mario freeze at the mid air and just let the rope going...

So don't take those mini games that seriously imo, just enough to get a moon and I won't play most of the mini games ever again lol.

Again, pretty nitpicky, but imagine going through some vast plains as a T-Rex. Even if only for 30 seconds, it'd be awesome!
Yeah, I get it, but for me I want to smash more stuff with T Rex than just some rocks and walls...

I do too, and honestly, I'm one who believes there's lot of reply value in there. I mean, the post-game content is just ****ing bonkers.

I just think there's many missed opportunities in terms of the mechanics and that we should get more worlds like Sand Kingdom or New Donk City.
All in all, even games that are universally acclaim will have some things worth nitpicking. Hell, I agreed that just because we love that certain game, the more stuff you can call it out.

You may remember how I have been deemed as a Xenoblade fanboy back in the days where many users here who doesn't even play XC2 bashing/chastising the game for ridiculous reasons. As they also forgot how I also nitpick on XC2 quite often as well.

With our discussion on Odyssey let's us learn two things, one is that it is better to criticize the game after playing it, two is don't even bother on games you don't even like or want to play.
I watched Incredibles 2 today.

Really fantastic stuff.

Also the amount of "blink and you'll miss it " political/social jabs they had in there was honestly crazy.

I also had to explain the meaning of Bao to my friend lol.
Oh right... Bao, kind of hit home for me since that short focuses on a Chinese-Canadian, and to be exact the short's title is called 包子 (Bao-Zih), which yes it is a Chinese dumpling that I often eat for breakfast.

The meaning of Bao isn't that hard to understand, it's just that many parents, especially East Asian parents are super protective on their children. My parents on the other hand though... kind of hard to explain, they are strict that's for sure but when it comes to protective it's a mixed bag, they will never allow us to do anything that harms us (And that unfortunately includes video games), but they still gives us chance to do stuff that may be risky but good for our future.

And the end of the short, instead of feeling touched, I actually laughed a lot...

Now to Incredibles 2
Jack-Jack was freaking adorable in the movie lol. Nuff said.

And nah, forget those, the antagonist in this movie is way better than Sydrome imo.

Octopath is whats up right now
Ah, Octopath Traveler, once I got my salary this the first game I will get, if I can get it that is...

And I will guarantee you that Octopath Traveler will sell better than XC2 within this year.

I think the only move in Galaxy that felt like an unnecessary extra was the special ground pound you would do by shaking the remote at the same time.

And even then, it looks stylish as ****, is still a ground pound so it can be used everywhere a ground pound is needed and it has slight homing.

Not to mention the motion controls were both natural and not overbearing. Just lightly shake the remote and bam, you got the entire thing down aside from a handful of motion-heavy levels.

I was never a big fan of most of those mini games, and you may also heard mini games like that rope jumping use to have a glitch where you can just let Mario freeze at the mid air and just let the rope going...

There still are glitches for the jump rope minigame. They're arguably even easier too.

And about "don't take those mini games seriously" statement... Yes, many of them are just silly, but the racing one is genuinely one of, if not the only time where experimenting with the platforming mechanics actually rewards you. They're literally some of my favorite moons because of that.

With our discussion on Odyssey let's us learn two things, one is that it is better to criticize the game after playing it, two is don't even bother on games you don't even like or want to play.
Plus, a debate is way more fun when both sides have experience about the subject. Case in point, I had fun talking with you.

Training my brand new FEH team if you are curious so I can do Tempest Trails better.

One of the best tips I can give you for Tempest Trials is to use a staff.

Unlike the Arena, having a weak staff user doesn't lower your score, and they grant your other units extra survivability by healing them.
Gosh darn it I do not think I have a five star staff unit.

So...

What are your stances on used games?
I am 100% okay with it. Especially as an archivist. Having back up copies to archive, I can definitely get behind it.

Oh hey, today is my birthday. Happy birthday, me.

And also, great, the image uploader is on fire! @Warchamp7
Set on fire ju-

God damn it Gwen, you Greninja'd me hard on that joke.

Well, I at least can the other one.

Happy Birthday, resident Fate weeb, who's only know for playing Fate, and most certainly nothing else.

Really not sure if I should Pokemon that I want to have on my final team..
Like I know the whole point of rotating is using tons of new Pokemon, but I'm going to play this game at least 10 more times and I'll probably use a lot of new Pokemon on those runs.
Besides, I like to keep track of every team I've had and it's not easy when you constantly rotate them. I happen to remember all of the Pokemon I've used in my Gold playthrough but I don't remember what my "final" team formation was (granted it also has to do with the fact I never beat Red in my playthrough of that game, but still).

Get Masked Marth, and stick Renewal and Reciprocal Aid/Ardent Sacrifice on them. Since "Marth" is a bonus unit, they get the stat boost and you get bonus points for using them, and Falchion and Renewal stack for up to 20 HP self-healing every other turn; Reciprocal Aid or Ardent Sacrifice then lets you pass that healing onto other units.

Or consider actually building a staff unit. :p You can get Lissa from the daily rotation maps, and she is reasonably bulky which is good for Tempest Trials. Or someone like Azama or Lucius can do the job too. A fairly cheap build for either of them would be Pain+ with the Dazzling Staff refine, Martyr+, Miracle, HP +5, Wings of Mercy/Escape Route, and double Savage Blow in the C and S slots.

Man what a bummer... I found watermelon cut up in the fridge in a tupperware and I open it up and it’s all bad!

After thinking about it for a while I realized that rotating my team slows down the pacing of the game by quite a large margin, so I think I'm only gonna rotate when I catch one of my permenant team members from now on.
However since I did some EXP grinding for some other Pokemon besides my team members recently, the team formation is going to change a bit. Stay tuned.

The new design for base Broly is cool, but I kinda miss the idea of him looking like a total weakling in contrast to his transformation. The contrast kinda tells a story, like, the power isn't his own or it's not really him; but rather, something inside him that takes over.

To be honest with you, with me still have yet to finish most of the game, I do think myself lacks some credibility on some perspectives.

Regardless, with my Nintendo Switch I have been planning on getting stuff like... a new case which I found one that is official licensed and it has outer metal shell, or another one that is by a brand called Project Design where they make decent Switch cases. From Switch to even the Joy Con Grip case.

As for games, oh boy, I even made a long list, here are the game I do consider buying, not guarantee to get all of them within this year though:
  • Smash Bros Ultimate
  • Octopath Traveler
  • Ys VIII
  • The World Ends With You Final Remix
  • Valkyria Chronicles 4
  • Valkyria Chronicles
  • Bloodstained Ritual of the Night
  • Bayonetta 1&2
  • Wolfenstein II The New Colossus
  • Dragon Quest Builders
  • Shining Resonance Refrain
  • Travis Strikes Again: No More Heros
  • DOOM
  • Nights of Azure 2
  • Skullgirls 2nd Encore

I actually don't think that was his base form, but rather a corrupted SSJ1 form similar to the one he had in the movies. He looks slightly more in line with his old base self in this concept art.

Ah thanks for sharing! Glad to know I was mistaken. That looks great, an improvement over the more awkward looking appearance he used to have, actually.

Not surprised last night's Smash stream from the Jump Victory Carnival had nothing new about Smash. There's another one of these streams coming on the 22nd but again I think we'll get nothing.

I kinda want a Smash Bros x Shonen Jump game.

They could have then
Goku, Vegeta, Freiza, Luffy, Yugi, Jotaro Kujo, Light and Ryuk, Naruto, Ichigo, Inuyasha, Saitama, Midoriya and Sailor Moon as a guest character.

The closest you're going to get to that right now is Super Smash Flash 2 as they have 4 of those characters in it.
