I mean I already admit that anyway, all I'm saying is you can't be like last time using it as a argument on my opinion, and not just that, any term tagging was never a good way to start a discussion at all. So that's why I never call you or Flight a Wii U obsessed or anything.I can say with certainty that you are a bit obsessed with the Switch when, in the same sentence where you claim I can't do that, you proceed to literally give me a sales pitch for the thing.
I mean if you think my opinions have any false statements, I'm all welcome to take the counter points. To speak nothing of the rest of the post.
But I'm not getting into a debate over it.
Yeah, this is exactly the case lol. There are couple of things that can made me decide if I'll get a retail/AAA game digitally.
Of course I'm still getting games physically. And I'll never get indie games physically.
- Small download size
- A game that I want to have ready to play at any time (Splatoon 2, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Super Bomberman R, & Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)
- Costs less to get it digitally (Puyo Puyo Tetris & Mega Man Legacy Collection 1)
- If there is any BS getting it physically (Bayonetta 1+2 & Mega Man Legacy Collection 1+2)

Why do I even bother at this point?
What? What you always never understand I guess, is that people around the world have different gaming preference
I dunno, I closed the app as soon as I saw it, didn't even have a chance of reading the channel nameWas it ProsafiaGaming? They love spoiling games.
When I saw goop, I thought of Super Mario Sunshine.Trying to get an idea out further again, still struggling but I'm at least getting down an attempt here.
I'd say it's more like the Crash Bandicoot bridge levels IRL, but if that was the case, half of the planks would be falling apart or made of ice.

I know Nier Automata is a sequel of Nier, a spin-off game from Drakenguard, which its most recent game is out back in 2013.Does anyone even know that Nier: Automata is from a fantasy series called Drakengard?
Starting your post of "what?" is odd, not sure if you are just confusing or just don't under where I am coming at.What?
Like, every time I talk about this subject, I literally make note of the other perspectives that exist, and clarify which one I fall under.
Check my response to Flight and you will know (And you mention that you 100% agree, which is odd imo) You somewhat got it wrong if you actually think that advice was specifically for you, that's mostly for those like Flight who sticks with Nintendo games in general. I mean it's nice that you share your further gaming experience but no need to be compromising your opinion. Also I don't know where this "get out of your comfort zone" thing is coming from, even without considering the fact I have an extremely broad comfort zone (all four of my current Switch games are in completely different genres, to speak nothing of my much larger libraries on other systems). Sure, Switch has a lot of multiplayer games I'm not buying, but that's not even because I don't like their gameplay. I played the online demos for Splatoon 2, ARMS, and Mario Tennis Aces, and in terms of their core gameplay, I had fun. And that's fine with a free demo. But these games cost €60 each, so they need more than just fun mechanics for me to put down that kind of money. And they all have something holding them back for me, one of them being Nintendo's subpar online meaning that even if the mechanics are great, they will sometimes break because of the online.
This is Smashboards, why is even making "essays" now an issue? It's you that seems to always have to write essays and even sometimes backhanded remarks in response to someone who has an outlook different than yours.
Now this is exactly where I disagree with you and Flight... only to some degree. I mean in that case you 100% agreed with Flight's opinion was a bit weird to some degree. Also, I don't think the Wii U is a better console than the Switch, I said the library of games and things that Nintendo were doing at the time of the Wii U were more exciting to me than what is happening with the Switch.
I don't need to justify why something makes me excited. Nor why something doesn't. Excitement is a feeling. And when it comes to Wii U's Nintendo games were more exciting is unfortunately hard to be justified
True, with that being said I'm curious to hear what exactly make you excited when it comes to Switch.I don't need to justify why something makes me excited. Nor why something doesn't. Excitement is a feeling.
Only because it's getting actual third-party support, honestly.Switch has better game library than Wii U and we are only more than a year after Switch's launch.
The only games I bought for Switch that I was excited for prior to getting them were Breath of the Wild and Sonic Mania.True, with that being said I'm curious to hear what exactly make you excited when it comes to Switch.
For me, a Xenoblade, Splatoon sequel, plus new Mario sandbox 3D game, all coming 2017 were excited for me already.
In 2018, I'm excited for more games that I want to play, mostly JRPGs, certain ports, and Smash. Yes, excited is a feeling, but when now what Switch has doesn't make you excited, then I don't know what else will unless you are waiting for a specific game come to Switch.
Right. I really want to own at least one import within my Switch's lifespan.Yeah, this is exactly the case lol.
Also add games that you couldn't get in your region... like many Japan only games.
Why would you ever say something like this?the best way to play the game is on PC via emulator.
Nope, the Zygarde Cell quest is gone in USUM. You now catch Zygarde like other legendary encounters. It appears in its 50% Forme in that one cave in Poni Island that looks exactly like its catching location in X/Y.Are there any Zygarde Cells in USUM?
Oh thank Arceus, because I really don't feel like trying to collect all of them. I still haven't gotten all of them in my original Sun save file.Nope, the Zygarde Cell quest is gone in USUM. You now catch Zygarde like other legendary encounters. It appears in its 50% Forme in that one cave in Poni Island that looks exactly like its catching location in X/Y.
You still get the Zygarde Cube from Dexio and Sina when you reach that one Aether Base in Ula Ula Island. I think they give you one of the Zygarde Formes when they give you the key item, but I don't remember which one (I feel like it's the 10% Forme). As far as I recall, they give you the remaining Zygarde Cells once you catch the wild Zygarde in Poni Island.
>Being able to play the game at native 4K, 60 FPSWhy would you ever say something like this?
Hey bud, considering you made an improvement, I am confident you can go down to 280 lbs! Finally down below 300 lbs. now!
First time in like 7 years I've been sub 300. Last time I was going to the gym regularly, but because of my work schedule and how exhausted it made me I was forced to stop. Nowadays all my workouts are done at home. I want to try to get down to 280 by the Winter, which is around my High School weight. I can start upping the intensity of my workouts to possibly get there a bit quicker.
Because it's not an easily accessible option, you talk about it like it's no different from choosing between the Wii U or Switch versions when the number of requirements and steps you must do to get it are more than it's worth when you could just, like, play the game on the console designed to olay the game you already have.>Being able to play the game at native 4K, 60 FPS
>Being able to play with any controller I want and being able to rebind the controls as I see fit
>Being able to play with other graphical enhancements like better reflections and higher resolution shadows
>Being able to easily use cheats and cheat engines if I ever feel like goofing off in the game
>Being able to more easily install mods than on Wii U or Switch
The better question is why wouldn't I say something like this?
Sorry Shishoe, but I have to agree with him.>Being able to play the game at native 4K, 60 FPS
>Being able to play with any controller I want and being able to rebind the controls as I see fit
>Being able to play with other graphical enhancements like better reflections and higher resolution shadows

I mean... I know most already know this but, wasn't third party support is what Nintendo's console lacked for years? And was what people said that cause Wii U ultimately being a commercial failure? So Nintendo Switch getting actual third party support isn't something that we should take for granted. There were many games on Steam that I have been eager to play or prefer it to be on Switch, like Skullgirls, so I'm glad it is coming.Only because it's getting actual third-party support, honestly.
Okay, again I aware this is just your opinion, my thoughts is that not the first party lineup while you agree it is impressive, it is actually one of the best first year lineup was not only the best for Nintendo but also compare to other current gen consoles. And I agreed with you on ARMS, no comment on Botw since I haven't even got it, Odyssey though I couldn't disagree with you enough, but let's just agree to disagree on that at this point lol.Because for the first-party games, while impressive at first glance, mostly tend to be great, are mostly either ports/iterative sequels (MK8D, Splatoon 2, Tropical Freeze, BotW, etc.) or are legitimately new and interesting games that end up having a bunch of flaws that make me lost interest in the game once I have nothing else to do (ARMS, Odyssey, BotW once again because it fits both categories), with the occasional game that isn't worth it at all (1, 2, Switch!)
Eh.. not sure why you mention XC2 all of sudden (Besides knowing me that I'm a huge XC2 fan lol), I don't really care if you want to buy the game or not. Perhaps you may think that I will bash at anyone who doesn't want to buy XC2, that far from the case. I "bash" those who doesn't play game but tries to talk about how crap the game is in certain perspectives that "makes your head explode"<(XC2 DLC quest reference lol). With how work is taking so much of my time, Xenoblade 2 will probably never be purchased by me. Not that I don't want to try it, just that a game like this requires a lot of time and commitment, which is beginning to be a lacking resource since I'm starting to get 40-hour work weeks and I'd rather spend the free time I have left with things that won't take me 800 hours.
Oh yeah... Sonic Mania... I bought the game back when it was released... not sure why but I stopped playing it after finishing the first zone...The only games I bought for Switch that I was excited for prior to getting them were Breath of the Wild and Sonic Mania.
Yeah, yeah, we get that PC is the best way to go when it comes to emulators and mods... but for me I was never fond those after GBA and DS emulators. And since I don't own a PC myself, I will never risk to download those mods and emulators, otherwise when the PC screws up my parents gonna blame me for that lol. Both of them are multiplatform and even in Breath of the Wild's case, the best way to play the game is on PC via emulator. I got Breath of the Wild on Switch mainly because I needed something to play on Switch specifically and I found it discounted on Switch, and Sonic Mania was an impulse buy because my PS4 and PC copies were delayed and I wanted to play it ASAP.
I was never interested on Fire Emblem series (But my brothers play the **** out of the game... huh...)The other two games are Fire Emblem Warriors and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I bought FE Warriors because I had a gift card to spend and my local GameStop offered me the Special Edition for the exact price of my gift card, so it's basically a free copy. And Xenoblade 2 I was very on the fence about, but then I saw this video and said "OK I'll do it for the Welsh Cat". I also got that game discounted.
To be fair there isn't much Japan only games on Switch that is good... even if it is it eventually comes to the west. Like Gal Metal...never expect that come to the west...until now...Right. I really want to own at least one import within my Switch's lifespan.
The only problem with that is I can't find any that catches my attention so far (there's Fight Crab but that's coming out next year.)
While you are right but...>Being able to play the game at native 4K, 60 FPS

To be fair, some games are better to play on PC/PS4/Xbox One than Switch if you don't care about the portability, like DOOM, Wolfenstein II, and Fortnite.Because it's not an easily accessible option, you talk about it like it's no different from choosing between the Wii U or Switch versions when the number of requirements and steps you must do to get it are more than it's worth when you could just, like, play the game on the console designed to olay the game you already have.
Yes, Shiny but I don't think you actually have to money to get a PC that can run games in 4K and in 60 fps, even a college student like me getting a Switch last year nearly emptied my wallet. And as an Asian college student, even if I have PC, taking PC and the stuff from my dorm to my home and vice versa... eh... never convenient. Not to mention study abroad... I remember I bring my Switch to US, and my friend from the same college told me he prefers PS4, but he didn't take it to US because it was too big to carry.Sorry Shishoe, but I have to agree with him.
Playing in a PC is probably the best way to play any game in general.![]()
BotW is super easy to emulate though, lol.Because it's not an easily accessible option, you talk about it like it's no different from choosing between the Wii U or Switch versions when the number of requirements and steps you must do to get it are more than it's worth when you could just, like, play the game on the console designed to olay the game you already have.
Yeah sure, unfinished and unstable emulators that only run on high tech computers that requires god knows how much RAM to keep the game running, not to mention having to get the ROM data from a gamecard is all a super easy process compared to, like, pressing a button on a gaming console.BotW is super easy to emulate though, lol.
Of course I can buy it. I have like a few thousand dollars, so maybe I can buy one. I probably will not because I already have a good one plus I have better things to buy. I am not talking about our money but my money.Yes, Shiny but I don't think you actually have to money to get a PC that can run games in 4K and in 60 fps, even a college student like me getting a Switch last year nearly emptied my wallet. And as an Asian college student, even if I have PC, taking PC and the stuff from my dorm to my home and vice versa... eh... never convenient. Not to mention study abroad... I remember I bring my Switch to US, and my friend from the same college told me he prefers PS4, but he didn't take it to US because it was too big to carry.
The lack of third-party support is a reason the Wii U failed, but not the only one.I mean... I know most already know this but, wasn't third party support is what Nintendo's console lacked for years? And was what people said that cause Wii U ultimately being a commercial failure? So Nintendo Switch getting actual third party support isn't something that we should take for granted. There were many games on Steam that I have been eager to play or prefer it to be on Switch, like Skullgirls, so I'm glad it is coming.
Alright, but let me bring up this Odyssey rant first. If you don't wanna read it, it's spoilered, so just don't open it..Odyssey though I couldn't disagree with you enough, but let's just agree to disagree on that at this point lol.
